You thought that when you first became acquainted with Byun Baekhyun, he would just be another close friend that you could tell all your secrets to. You were wrong. 

Baekhyun was one of those few boys that went to the library to study every afternoon. You admired him for that fact, because that was something not many would do, especially with pretty girls ogling at him in the hallways. Of course, being the socialite you were, you would not accompany him to the library.

All that changed after you heard his voice. 

It was just an average Truth or Dare session that your class would indulge in, especially after the examination period. All of your close friends, Sehun, Chanyeol, Luhan, Kyungsoo and of course Baekhyun were participating. The bottle spun twice, and it was Kyungsoo's turn to ask Baekhyun a question.

"Truth or Dare?"

"Yah yah yah! Aish, I have to pick Dare, because you all know everything about me!"

"Not everything," Chanyeol quipped, winking as Baekhyun's face turned red. 

"J-Just get to the point," Baekhyun hid his face behind his book. 

"Okay, then," Kyungsoo smirked, "Sing for us, won't you?" Your jaw dropped open as Baekhyun muttered incoherently. He could sing? You...you didn't know. 

"Sing, or we'll expose that secret of yours," Luhan teased. Baekhyun shook his head frantically, and cleared his throat to prepare to sing. 

"______, prepare for the best thing that's ever happened in your life," Sehun bent down to whisper to you as you smiled in return. Baekhyun's singing? You would definitely anticipate it. 

"Cheoneum neol mannaneun nal, noran sesongi jangmireul deulgo... [The first time I met you, you were holding three yellow roses]"  Baekhyun sang beautifully. And beautiful was an understatement, for he sang so softly and passionately that you felt a pang in your heart.

"Three yellow roses, please," You paid the cashier and headed off towards your house, where you would give the flowers to your mother as her birthday present. 

On the way home, you were deep in thought about the various tasks and assignments you had received for your holiday work from school, not noticing where you were going. "Ouch!" A cry rang out at the same time you hit your head against something hard, falling onto the pavement. 

Looking up, you saw a boy, with black hair like that of a raven's, also on the floor, rubbing his head gingerly. 

"I'm sorry!" You called, helping him up.

"Hello sorry~ I'm Byun Baekhyun."

As you begged Baekhyun to sing the rest of the song, you realised that he was staring at you the whole time he was singing, as if he were confessing to you indirectly, because the song lyrics were about a guy confessing to a girl, especially the chorus. He brushed your fringe aside and tucked it gently behind your ear, his stare piercing and melting you slowly.

A tingle spread throughout your body. If this meant you were falling in love with Byun Baekhyun, then you would accept it gladly.
