Lucy's P.O.V.
It didn’t take long of walking around for Sasuke to catch up. He appeared next to me in the streets, hands in pocket casually.
“What’s up, SasGay?” I asked nonchalantly. Smirking, when he swung a glare my way.
“How did you get a bell?” he asked watching me play with the small bell wrapped around my wrist.
Smirking, I jangled it obnoxiously in front of his face.
“ ’Cuz I’m just awesome like that, Cockatoo.” I said sticking my tongue out at him.
He just went with his usual response, a grunt, while I skipped a little ways ahead. I looked back to see a playful smile playing along his lips as he stared at me.
“So what’s your idea today for our newest adventure?” he asked smirking as he walked along side of me.
Tapping my chin, I couldn’t help but sigh when I realized I hadn’t planned anything exciting today. Sincerely, I thought that Kakashi’s stupid survival test was going to last all day, but its only 5 o’clock in the afternoon.
“Well, I hadn’t planned anything for today, but how about we wing it?” I said rubbing the back of my head awkwardly.
He just nodded and pointed ahead of me. I looked over and saw the ramen stand and skipped ahead noticing just how hungry I was.
We both ordered a pork bowl and talked for about ten minutes when Naruto ran over, smiling like a total dork.
“Hi Lucy-chan!” he exclaimed, totally ignoring Sasuke who sat right next to me.
Sasuke didn’t seem to mind his lack of attention and sipped at his ramen. Naruto jumped up on the seat on the other side of me and asked the chef for the ‘usual’.
Naruto ranted about just how cool he really is until his food came and he dug right in. Thankful, he finally managed to stuff his face long enough for Sasuke and I to escape and we trotted down the dirt road with full bellies.
“What do you want to do now?” I asked sighing in content.
He shrugged looking around the now dark village.
“Actually, I’m beat. I think I’ll hit the hay now. Night.” He said before disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Shrugging, I teleported to my house, but something wasn’t right…my door was wide open. I peeked in and gasped in horror to see my whole house had been ransacked.
I ran inside, panic overwhelming all of my senses when I ran into my room and yelped. My bed was torn apart, mattress thrown violently across the room and closet door wide open. Running over to my closet, I sighed in relief to see the damn burglars couldn’t manage to open my gun safe.
I went over to my bathroom, throwing the medicine cabinet open and cursed when I saw my money was gone; all of it gone.
“Damnit!” I shouted and sobbed simultaneously.
Quickly looking over the rest of my house the only things they left was a small portion of my clothes, some weapons, my gun safe, my jukebox, and my furniture leaving them with some damage.
I didn’t even realize I was crying until the tears dripped from my chin. I sobbed quietly and ran out of my destroyed house, closing the door behind, and ran to Sasuke’s house.
I was still sobbing when he opened his door, grumpy I must add.
“What do you-Lucy!? What’s wrong? Why are you crying?” he asked, worried.
