Bumangon ako sa kama, it was still sore down there, but not that sore anymore. "Kira, breakfast."

"Is Maximo gone?" I asked, hoping he isn't. How can he not wake me up when he was planning to already? I should have seen him and bid him a farewell, and a good luck... kiss.

"He sailed to Algaya already, Kira. He left a word saying you and Marco will be in charge of looting for this week and he didn't wake you up since you seemed to have a good sleep."

Tumango lang ako. I can't believe Maximo has fully entrusted to me just about everything. We don't even know each other that much, right? I mean, it's only been almost a week. Am I even fit for his trust?

"Please, kumain ka na, Kira." Saad niya at saka nilapag ang tray sa coffee table. Tumango lang ako at tumungo roon. I devoured the food with no sense of primness, I was utterly hungry.

"Thanks for the food." I said when I was done.

"You're welcome."

When she was gone, I went to the comfort room and undressed, I took in the scent of the strawberry bath. I slowly submerged into the lukewarm water. I closed my eyes as the water drenched my skin. When I was done taking a bath, I wore the robe and twirled a towel on my head.

I opened it and saw a pirate suit. The texture was grand and floral, it was red and gold, the upper garment. It was paired with a leather pants and leather shoes.

I smiled, contented with the getup.

Saktong iyon ay bumukas ang pinto. "Let's go." Marco looked at me with his bored eyes.

Pumewang naman ako, "how many times do I have to tell you to knock before you come in?"

"I don't like wasting time."

"Why?"

"It's a private matter."

Oh, how about I use the queen card? "Marco, I'm asking you that question, it is an order that you must answer."

Marco huffed at my announcement. "Your father was after one of the relics in which my parents owned as a heirloom, he wanted the relic for himself as it costs trillions. After all, one of the world's greatest treasures."

Hindi ako umimik. I just listened to him. Tila gusto kong sampalin ang sarili. I should have not pried on his business. It was his, not mine. But since he was already in the middle of telling the story, I didn't interrupt. I was curious, too.

"Meliodas and I were marine engineers. I design ships and he build them. That was our tandem before we became pirates. Then this one night came, we received a call from someone claiming to be Mikhael Kara, your dad. He was laughing, telling us that if we want our parents alive, we give him the relic. He gave us the location and time. My brother and I went, gave that demon what he wanted, then he made us play this silly game in which the life of our parents is at stake. I was late by a second, and that killed them both. So, time is precious to me. I can't afford being late anymore. Now, let's go. The crew is waiting at the port."

Hindi na niya ako hinintay pa na magsalita, he stormed off the room. Nanatili akong nakapako sa aking kinakatayuan. Mula sa pintuan ay sumilip siya, "are you coming or not?"

"Coming," sagot ko at saka tumakbo para habulin siya. Naglakad kami pababa sa siyudad. It seems like all the people were sleeping, ngunit may iba naman na nasa labas, they all bowed to me and Marco, greeting us.

When we were at the port, we saw two ships, Treasure Trove and Siren Steel. "I'll command Treasure Trove, you, Siren Steel. We have our own crews. We'll use the walkie-talkie to connect. Here's the route. The plan is like before. If it fails, Plan B, your own plan. I forgot to tell you before, if communication is cut down, we use flares. Red flare for enemy spotted, black flare for ship sinking, green flare for normal, yellow for trouble."

Marco and I went on our separate directions. When we were on board our own ships, tumunog ang walkie-talkie ko, "Kira, are you there?"

"Roger, Marco."

"Okay. Set sail."
