"This will be your temporary lodging when we use Treasure Trove." Inip na saad ni Marco sa akin habang tinuturo ang kwarto, tila hindi siya mapakali. Mula naman sa itaas ay dinig ko ang pagkalas ng mga nakaw na yaman. Okay, I get it. Marco wants to be up with his fellow pirates—sharing whatever treasury they've burgled.

"Huwag ka masyadong maglakad-lakad dahil yong apak ng mga paa mo ay maririnig sa ilalim kung saan naroroon naman mismo ang stateroom ni Maximo." Bilin niya, tumango lang ako habang napupukaw ang Atens'yon sa kagandahan ng kwarto na gagamitin ko.

The ceiling was high and decorated with sapphires and rubies. The small chandelier that was dimly lit reflected the deep green color of the emerald stone in between. The classic paintings and the vibe of the room gave an aura of the Renaissance period. I guess Alexander Renaissance just loves to live by his name, I'm not even sure that is his real name or just his alias, to hide his real identity.

"By the way, since you're the only girl in the crew, don't forget to lock your door. Always." Dagdag ni Marco.

"Kahit naman na hindi mo sabihin sa akin ay ila-lock ko pa rin. I don't need to be reminded." I answered nonchalantly.

"That's not how you answer your senior." Siningkitan niya ako ng mata na tila si daddy bago magsermon. "You're only a newbie, better be respectful. Dapat nga nagpapasalamat ka sa akin, I should be on the deck collecting my share of loots instead of assisting a girl like you. I don't know what Maximo saw in you. I smiled, "girl, ngayon mo lang nalaman?"

Marco struggled to stand up, but he did anyways. Paika-ika siyang naglakad papunta sa labasan ng kwarto ko. Sinamaan niya ako ng tingin, "this stays between us." He growled.

I laughed at him. "I don't get orders from someone who's not my captain."

Tila pinapatay na ako dahil sa sama ng tingin na binibigay ni Marco sa akin, but I can still see it in his face, he is still at the midst of pain. Poor balls. I mentally did an evil laugh. He took his time glaring at me while taking an exit. Nang nakalabas na siya ay malakas niyang pin'wersa ang pagsara sa aking kwarto.

I laughed. Tumungo ako sa kusina ng kwarto ko at may nakitang mga prutas. My eyes twinkled in delight, exactly what I needed! Food. Kumuha ako ng mansanas at kinagatan ito. I almost puked when I found out that it has no taste and it was fake. Lintik!

Binuksan ko ang ref. Ang nakita ko ay puro mga alak. Walang matinong pagkain. My god! I'm hungry!
