Since my makeup was smudged and beyond saving, I decided to just wash my face. Nang lumabas ako sa banyo ay nadatnan ko si Maximo, sinusuot pa lamang niya ang kan'yang pantalon. I caught a glimpse again once... sa bumabakat sa gitna ng kan'yang hita.

He faced me when he saw me and he gave me a smile, I can't help but admire his built. How can he be so close to perfection? Since he was tanned and a little bit of sunlight has touched his skin, I saw little scars glistening from his chest down to his washboard abs. It somehow made him more masculine.

Kinuha ko ang aking bestida at sinuot ito, I struggled to zip my back, "let me do it." Ani Maximo na biglang nasa likuran ko. I nodded. I took my long locks of hair using my freehand and put it in front of me.

I feel Maximo's hands zipping the gown already. "Thank you."

Pumasok naman ang isang lalaki, "Maximo." Ngumiti ito sa kan'yang. Somehow, he kind of reminded me of Marco. Tumingin ang lalaki sa akin, his eyes were deep black, reminding me of an abyss, as if ready to suck your soul. "Milady." He bowed while locking his gaze on me.

I simply smiled at him.

"Starfish, this is Meliodas, my informant."

Meliodas. It's him! The older brother of Marco! Now this is why I see familiarity in him, he and Marco have resemblances and similar features.

"Meliodas Polo?" I asked.

He smiled, "that's my full name, older brother of Marco, milady."

"Call me Kira."

Tumango siya sa akin. "Okay, Meliodas, may you inform any freebooter on board to change the bedsheets?"

Tumango si Meliodas, ramdam ko naman ang pamumula ng aking pisngi. Why is Maximo so blunt about everything?

Lumabas na kami ni Maximo sa cabin, we were greeted by the salty wind, from a distance, I saw Marco talking to random pirates. As if feeling my gaze on him. He looked at me, he nodded in acknowledgment and smiled and once more, inanimately talked to the crowd.

"All hands hoay!" Sigaw ni Maximo dahilan upang tumigil ang lahat at humarap sa amin. "Sail back to Anarchist Harbor! The captain's duty is fulfilled!"

"Aye!" Sigaw nila.

"What do you mean captain's duty?" Bulong ko kay Maximo.

I suddenly felt exposed, but Maximo held me on my hands, "you see, everyone is expecting that you bear children who will rule for the next generations. Everyone has a high expectation, not only of you, but of me. Those hopes are what binds my people, our people, together. We need to keep giving them hope to keep faith on us."

Maximo spoke like a true leader, suddenly, I saw him in a different light. He really knows what he is doing. On the other hand, me, I'm still lost. I still can't believe this is actually happening, all of it.

The ship slowly sailed back to the island, sumunod naman ang iba pang mga barko, all of them were shouting chants "May the seven sea gods bless you!" and all sorts.
