As Glenn made battle plans I sat up in the crow's nest of the cell block and just listened. I was on mandatory mental health rest according to Hershel, but I'm tired of sitting. I then moved to my cell and laid on the cold concrete ground. "Chlo?" Carl asked but I just stared at the ceiling. "Chloe" He lowered his voice as he came over and laid next to me. We were silent until I said, "I'm tired of being treated like I'm made of glass" I watched the plain dirty ceiling as I felt a hand on my face, and my head was turned to meet Carl's beautiful blue eyes. "Who said glass? Your badass babe" I chuckled and scooted over to kiss him.

"Want to keep watch with me?" Carl asked, and I bit my lip nodding. "Alright" Carl got up first and then helped me up. Carl handed me my gun and I put it in the waist band of my jeans before he took my hand and tugged me out of the cell. I giggled loudly as I followed him. We went to the front gate then towards our metal bleachers. We stood there talking as Beth, Carol, and Axel came out. Suddenly everything was quiet as I turned to Carol talking to Axel. I smiled as Carol laughed but then gasped as Axel was shot. Beth and Carl then pulled me to the ground as more gunshots followed.

Beth and Carl ran one way while I went another. I was forced to slide and duck behind the guard tower. When the shots finally seased a truck came full force through the gates, and parked in the grass, before letting the gate down releasing walkers in the field. "Fuck!" I cursed and checked my ammo before nodding to myself. I took a deep breathe before running towards Hershel who was currently in the field. I ducked and ran in a zig zag as I was being shot at. "HERSHEL!" I yelled as I ran towards him. As I approached him and shot at the walkers around us another truck came up and I pointed my gun at it until I noticed it was Glenn. "Get him, I'll get to rick" I told Glenn who nodded. I then took off out of the gates and around. I get there just in time to basically almost watch Rick get mauled until an arrow came out of nowhere and killed the walker. I turned and saw Daryl before turning and shooting walkers.

It wasn't just Daryl who came back but Merle as well. We finished the walkers around us before looking in the field where walkers still roamed. "Better get inside" I told them, and we went towards the Prison. We shot the walkers in the field before going to our cell block. We all stood around as we discussed our plan. "We're not leaving." Rick told us, but Hershel disagreed, "We can't stay here." I sat at the stairs as I looked at Maggie who said "What if there's another sniper? A wood pallet won't stop one of those rounds." Instead of speaking up I turned to Beth who called out "We can't even go outside." But then Carol added, "Not in the daylight." I rolled my eyes and Glenn spoke up, "Rick says we're not running, we're not running." I took a deep breath and went to answer but Merle beat me to it, "No, better to live like rats."

"You got a better idea?" Rick asked the man I glared at harshly. "Yeah, we should have slid out of here last night and lived to fight another day. But we lost that window, didn't we? I'm sure he's got scouts on every road out of this place by now." I sighed angerly, "We ain't scared of that prick. I stood my ground in Woodbury Had yall runnin back with a tail between your legs" I snarked but Merle just says "Y'all should be. That truck through the fence thing, that's just him ringing the doorbell. We might have some thick walls to hide behind, but he's got the guns and the numbers. And if he takes the high ground around this place, shoot, he could just starve us out if he wanted to." I groaned as I said, "Let's put him in the other cell block." From above us Daryl called out, "No. He's got a point." That's when I had enough, "This is all you. You started this." I yelled back standing up. "What difference whose fault it is?" Beth called out coming up behind me, "What do we do?" From in front of us Hershel called out, "I said we should leave. Now Axel's dead. We can't just sit here." Hershel said, but Rick tried to walk away. "Get back here!" He yelled as he crutched behind him. "You're slipping, Rick. We've all seen it. We understand why. But now is not the time. You once said this isn't a democracy. Now you must own up to that. I put my family's life in your hands. So, get your head clear and do something." And that was the end of the meeting. With the Governor on the loose with our turn to play tag, and the field full of walkers we're trapped.
