I walked down the tiny hallway and smiled at the baby in front of me. "Oh Judith. Your bubby is lucky I love him" I cooed at her making her giggle. I smiled and reached down into my bag to pull out some of her snacks.

I handed them to her as she looked at them curiously, before bringing them to her mouth. "Chloe!" I heard and turned going to meet one of the guys. "Taking out Jeremy?" I asked and he smiled. "Yup. five for a hunting trip" I nodded and wrote it down, before saying "Alright you're clear" Jeremy smiled and waved before leaving.

"Alright you're clear to go Chloe." Olivia called out and I smiled going back to get Judith's things. I picked the baby up and we walked back to the house. Reaching the house I left Judith with Carol, and went on a little walk myself. "You're cleared for work and instantly not taking it easy?" I heard and turned to see Eden. I smiled and shrugged "Gotta stay on my toes." I said and she walked next to me. "Do you ever think about how life would be different if the whole apocolypse never happened?" Eden asked me and I looked at her before looking forward.

"All the time" I said and Eden just nods silently. "I uh.. With.." I stopped myself taking a deep breathe. "I always think about what would happen if I never met Carl, or if my sister never met Glenn. I'd still be a little innocent farm girl who'd hunt with her foster father's neighbor." It fell silent after that and I reached my hand up and ran it through my long brown locks. "I need a haircut" I said and Eden chuckled. "Let's go find Jesse" I said and Eden agreed following me, but soon fell back behind when she saw Ron

I get to Ron's house and knock on the door. Jesse answered and smiled softly at us. "Hey Chloe. whats up?" She asked and I smiled back. "I need to ask you for a favor. You cut Rick's hair when we first showed. I just need a haircut" Jesse nodded and said "Come on in" Jesse sat me down and wrapped a towel around the back of my head before grabbing her sissors. Jesse cut probably 3 and a half inches off my hair so it was once again at my boobs with layers in it. "Thank you Jesse" I said and hugged her. Jesse froze before wrapping her arms around me.

Leaving the house I smiled at Carl who was strapping Judith into the stroller. "Hey you" I said and he turned smiling. "I haven't seen you all day" He said and I walked over to him hugging him and kissing his cheek. "Wanna take a walk?" He asked and I nodded. Our fingers were intertwined, as Carl pushed the stroller. We made it some way and rounded the corner to see Eden and Ron sitting there with their backs to us. "Wonder what they're talking about" I said and Carl nodded glaring at Ron.

I squeezed him hand and he just leaned over kissing my head. I smiled and we went to move on until we heard "Carl? Chloe?" In an instant we both turned to see Father Gabriel. "What?" I snapped and he uncomfortably looked around before meeting my eyes, and turning to Carl. "You heard what I told Deanna about your group." I rolled my eyes, and Carl called out "What do you want?" Gabriel just says "It was about me, not you or your group. I know that now. I want to help. You tried to teach me back at my church. But I'm ready to learn now." Carl sighed, "I think you need to tell everybody." Gabriel hesitated before noding "Yeah, I think you're right." We turned to walk away when Carl called out "Come by around 3:00. We'll start with the machete." We went to walk away again, but I turned to Eden and Ron. Ron hugged her and she looked shocked before looking up at me.

Carl and I made it back to the house and Carol was watching Judith while we were upstairs. I stood at the window looking out of it sighing. "Whats wrong?" Carl asked coming up behind me and placed his hands on my waist. "Just thinking really." I told him and suddenly as I watched one of the women smoking outside a guy ran up and killed her with a machete.

"Carl. Please tell me you saw that" I said and he nodded. We instantly turned and I grabbed my emergency bag pulling out a couple handguns and knives. "I knew you were hiding something in there" Carl said and I chuckled checking the magazine. "I don't know what you're talking about." I said before going to the closet we shared and grabbing an assult rifle. "This is what I was hiding" I told him and handed it to him as he gave me an amused look. We ran downstairs and found Carol looking for us "I saw from upstairs. They're coming in from all over." I called out and she nodded "You have to stay here and keep Judith safe."

While Carl was downstairs scouting around the house I checked to make sure Judith was sleeping still, before hearing "Chloe!" I instantly turned and closed the door rushing down the stairs to see Carl and Eden. "Don't do that" I scolded and pushed Carl lightly.

I grabbed my black handgun from my waist band of my jeans and held it up. "Okay, help watch the back door. Tell me if you see them coming." I said but Eden gave us a look. "I'm not staying." I just snap back "You're not going anywhere. Sit down. You're helping us protect Judith. They're not getting inside this house. We're not gonna let them." Carl, Eden, and I all sat with our backs to each other. Watching every way we could.

"Did you see them?" Carl asked, but Eden just says "They're just people. This place is too big to protect. There are too many blind spots. That's how we were able to--" Carl cut her off "They got in the walls, but they're gonna die. All of them." I sighed and just turned to her and said "Don't tell me good-bye." Eden nodded, as I turned back to the back door. "Okay. I won't."

"I knew something was bound to happen" I said and it was quiet. Suddenly a loud crash sounded and a loud horn echoed. "What the hell is happening out there" I whispered to mostly myself. "The walkeys" I said and instantly stood up. "Eden take my spot ill be right back." i said and ran towards the stairs. I tried to keep low from the windows, but made my way upstairs. I ran into my room and to my bag grabbing the walkeys I had in case for emergencies. I ran downstairs and handed Carl one. "You guys stay down here. I'll take post upstairs." Eden gave me a wild look. "Wait. who's the better shot?" she asked and I chuckled cocking my gun. "Who do you think taught him" I said winking and kissing my boyfriend swiftly before running back upstairs.

I opened the window and peered out before grabbing the walkey. "Love. You know the drill. Remember we've trained for this you and I. We got this." I said and looked to see Ron running past the house. "Ron is running this way. Someones following him. I'll take him out you get Ron" I said and peered out. Except when I shot I missed and hit his leg. "Damn it!" I yelled and watched as he tried to grab Carl, before he shot him. "Lets go back in the house you three" I said into the walkey, but watched as Ron ran off and Carl turned coming inside. "Idiot" I grumbled to myself.

"Babe? You in the clear?" He asked and I grabbed it, "Yeah. Clear up here" As soon as I said that I looked down to see someone getting hacked up by an Axe. "I stand corrected" I said and dropped it before aiming and shooting them in the head. They instantly fell and I smirked to myself.

Someone was running towards the house and I just shot and didn't think about it. "Chloe! Chloe talk to me!" I heard but ignored them as I kept shooting. I took down three, and grabbed the walkey. 'They're running for the exits" I said, "Coming down." I closed the window and put my gun in my waistband of my jeans, before coming downstairs. I was instantly crushed in a hug by Carl, and I sighed. "We did it. We protected Judith." Carl let go of me and Eden hugged me, and I was shocked for a second before hugging her back.

Pulling away Carl and I did one last look around the house before coming back to the kitchen when the timer went off. Carl took the casserole from the oven when I spotted a paper on the floor. I picked it up to read 'Just Survive Somehow.'
