Knots Untied

I groaned as I woke up to Daryl in my face. "Hey kid. lets go" I nodded and he left the room, as I sat up. I looked around noticing that im in my actual room. I closed the door and and dressed into some new clothes before grabbing my gun and knife. I brushed my hair and pulled it into a ponytail, before going downstairs. Everyone was around the table except for an empty seat between Carl and Glenn. I walked over and sat down slowly "Now that Chloe's here we can start" The weird guy called out, most turned to me but others kept their eyes on him.

"You said we should talk. So let's talk. So, how'd you get out?" Rick asked and the guy just says "One guard can't cover two exits or third floor windows. Knots untie and locks get picked. Entropy comes from order, right?" Rick just says "Right." The guy then says "I checked out your arsenal. I haven't seen anything like that in a long time. You're well-equipped, but your provisions are low. Very low for the amount of people you have. 54?" I rolled my eyes and said "More than that." The guy nodded, "Well, I appreciate the cookie. My compliments to the chef." Dayrl chimes in "Yeah, she ain't here."

"Look, we got off to a bad start. But we're on the same side-- the living side. You and Rick had every reason to leave me out there, but you didn't." I cut him off, "Yeah why didn't you?" They turned to me and I scooted my chair out. "I'll be upstairs" I said and turned walking off. Nobody came after me. I instantly went upstairs and grabbed Judith rocking her with me. "Oh Jude.." I whispered and just rocked her slowly. After about twenty minutes a soft knock came at the door and Rick showed up. I gave him Judith and went to walk out. "Chloe!" He called after me but I ignored him. I walked past Carl only for him to give me a look. I made it outside Maggie instantly grabbed my hand and pulled me to where no one was.

"I'm not going" I told her, and Maggie just laid a hand on my shoulder. "Whats wrong Chlo?" She asked and I sighed. "I don't know. I just miss Hershel right now." I said and Maggie hugged me tightly. "He reminds you of what happened years ago?" She whispered and I nodded sniffling. "Oh honey" she said and I hugged her tightly. "I just need to give him some time" I whispered and she pulled away. Maggie wiped my tears and kissed my head. "Be safe Chloe." I nodded "I will"

I stood on the porch with Carl as everyone waved as they left. "I need a nap" I announced and turned on my heels. I walked in the house and laid back on the couch. I closed my eyes and sighed almost dozing off when I felt a weight on me. I opened an eye to see Carl on top of me. I closed my eye again and he laid his head on my collarbone and shoulder. "I'm sorry I've been such a dick to you.." He said and I nodded "And" I spoke and he chuckled. "And I'm sorry for locking you out of our room so you had to sleep on the floor." I nodded, "And.."

"And im sorry for pushing you away after all we promised" Carl said and I smiled "And" I said and he sighed "And I'm sorry I ate your last pudding cup" I scoffed and he laughed "That was you! I blamed Glenn" Carl laughed before turning serious. "And" I said and he just leaned his head up "And what.." I smiled and said "And. What else" Carl sighed "And I'm sorry..." he trailed off trying to think of something. "I'm sorry that I told Maggie you left yesterday" I nodded "And." I said smirking. "And.. I love you.." Carl trailed off and I chuckled wrapping my arms around him. "I love you too" I told him. Carl leaned up and I met him half way as our lips connected. "You know.. My dad and Michonne will be away for awhile" he said and I chuckled. "Oh yeah?" Carl just says "Yeah.." I smirked "What do you have in mind? Scrabble?" I joked, and Carl scooped me up. I laughed loudly, as we went up the stairs.

I smiled as Carl sat behind me massaging my shoulders. "You're so tense" He said and I chuckled. "I was the one who wanted to play scrabble" I said him and Carl laughed. "Judith is still asleep" He said and kissed the back of my neck. "Candy land?" I asked and Carl laughed again before wrapping his arms around my waist and lifting me up and falling back on the bed. I turned in his arms and we made out going for another round.

We took a shower together after that. Getting out of the shower Carl was changed first and I changed second, as Judith cried. "I'll get her" He said and kissed me. I nodded and he left. I finally changed and brushed my hair and teeth. I had more toothpaste than anyone. "Carl?" I asked and he popped his head in with Judith. "yeah?" I then held up my toothpaste and he chuckled "Michonne" I nodded and said "Thought so." I put my stuff away, and cleaned up the bathroom as Carl calls out "You wanna go for a walk!?" I leave the bathroom and pop my head into Judith's room "Yeah give me five and we can go?" I offered and he nodded.

I went back in our room and pulled my boots on before going outside meeting with Carl. He handed me Judith while he got the stroller. I walked down the steps as Carl finally came with the stroller. We set her in and walked around the block. Carl took my hand in his as we laced our fingers together. "One day when we're older this will be our life. Me and you with our own baby Judith" Carl called out and I squeezed his hand, as I looked down at Judith. "Only if he or she has your blue eyes" I said and he chuckled.

After our walk we successfully put Judith to bed after her dinner. I was doing the dishes when arms went around me waist. I chuckled as I washed my hands putting the plates and bowls and cups in the drying rack. I turned in Carl's arms as he kissed my neck softly. "Wanna go play a game?" He asked and I chuckled "Whats on your mind? Monopoly?" I asked and he chuckled. "Exactly" he whispered in my ear before kissing me. 

Carl pushed me up against the counter roughly, as he kissed down my neck. He found my sensitive sweet spot instantly, and started sucking on it. I put my arms in his flannel and slid then up his shirt. Carl finally pulled away and attached his mouth to mine, before putting his hands on my waist, and sliding his hands up my shirt. I gasped at how cold his hands were from the counter, but he took that opportunity to stick his tongue in my mouth. Pulling away breathlessly Carl pulled away and took my hand leading me upstairs.
