'Maggie wanted to put me on watch but of course protective Carl came through, so now instead of pissing my boyfriend off I'm waiting on him to come from the armory. How we convinced Rick to let us go for a run with everything going on around us is beyond me. I just hope we actually find something good instead of another dead end.'

"Chlo" I heard and turned to see Carl "Lets go" He said and I smiled grabbing my bag putting my notebook in it. I slung it on my back and bounded down the stairs of the porch. We walked hand in hand down to the gate. Sasha smiled at us. "Hey you two, Rick said you could go out?" she asked. "Yeah. As long as were back before dark" I told her and she let us through. We walked down the street until we hit a pair of tracks. "Hmm road, or tracks" I asked. "Road, or tracks that reminds me of Terminus" Carl said and I laughed "Road it is" We followed the road, and it was quiet. "I kinda told Maggie about us" I told him and he turned to me. "Glenn knows to" I said and Carl just laughed. "Thats where you got them" I shrugged and laughed.

Suddenly as we hit a town walkers came towards us. We parted our hands as we went after them with our knives. Coming back to each other we walked forward. We skipped over this town and kept walking. We hit another and went around the town. On the outside of the town were houses. We played it safe and stood outside of them before knocking on the door or window. Not many walkers in general in any of the houses. We did find a couple silencers stashed in a shoe box under the bed. Going back towards the stores I stood outside one, as Carl went inside a sheriff's station. "Chloe!" Carl called out and I went in after him. "Where are you?" I asked chuckling. I went down a long hall way and turned to see a guy strung up with blood on the wall 'THE SAVIORS WILL COME FOR US ALL'.

"Holy shit" I said and turned seeing a black bag. I went over to it and smirked at I pulled out a long hunting rifle. "Got it" I said and zipped the bag up. "Let's go before one of us gets sick" I said and Carl chuckled, as he led me out. We went through more of the town, and I stopped at a random one looking in.

"Carl" I called out and rushed over to me. We looked in the window to see some guns in a display case. We high fived each other before grabbing our guns. I banged on the window and waited a few before four walkers came to the window. "Ready?" I asked and he smirked. Opening the door I took out two and he took out two. "In and Out. Save the case for last" I told him and he nodded. We went in and looked around. I went in the back and found a mini fridge. I opened it and smiled at the two cases of ammo. I quickly packed them before standing up as I heard something. I pointed my gun to see Carl with his hands up. I sighed and lowered the gun. "Scared me" I said

We walked back to the display case and I nodded as Carl smashed the back of the handgun into the display case. It smashed on impact and I looked around watching for walkers. "Careful of the glass" I called out. "Alright got it" He said and I smiled at him. We walked out of the store, but I pulled him back in as we heard "I'm telling you D it came from over here!" Carl and I then both did the eyes-on-you motion at the same time. "Alright then you two go look, and we'll go this way." Carl and I backed up into the shadows on each side of the store. The two men came in and looked at the busted display case. I pulled the trigger on one and they went down, as Carl pulled the trigger on another.

We then snuck out of store and looked around before taking off through the forest, and followed the tracks. Suddenly skidding to a stop, as we saw Rosita. "Whoa whoa whoa" I called out and she looked at us. "Are you two crazy!" Carl looked back before saying "They're on their way here we have to go" Rosita nodded. "You two get back to Alexandria. We'll be there soon" I nodded and grabbed Carl's hand as we ran back.

Finally seeing Alexandria's gates we slowed down breathing harshly. Enid let us in and I practically fell to the ground breathing heavily. "Are you guys okay?" Enid asked and I nodded. "We almost got ambushed, made it out...and lost them" I said. "Maggie has Judith and wanted you two there as soon as you got back" Enid said and I nodded. Carl helped me up and we walked back to the house. We walked in to see Maggie sitting there eating pickles. "Hey you two" Maggie said and I put the two boxes of ammo on the table, as Carl did the same with the three machine guns from the display case, and the rifle all in the bag. "We were on our way out and almost got ambushed by the saviors. We got out and ran into Rosita and them who told us to get back to Alexandria" I told him and sat next to her. "You two did good" Maggie said and took Carl's hand rubbing it with her thumb before dropping it and turning to me. "Both of you."

Judith started crying and Carl nodded "I'll go get her" Maggie nodded as he left and she turned to me. "I have to get back out there" she said and kissed my head before getting up. After Maggie left I took a pickle in my mouth as I closed the jar, and took it to the fridge. I crunched on it, as Carl came down with Judith. I finished the pickle and hen followed the Grimes children outside. I sat in the other chair, and said "So, you're dad and Michonne" I asked and he nodded. I laughed and said "Oh love." Later that night after we put Judith to bed Carl and I sat in bed with his head on my lap. I ran a hand through his hair as I started humming 'You Are My Sunshine'. Carl smiled as he closed his eyes and I played with his hair more.
