Say Yes

Rick and Michonne have been gone for a couple days now. Let's just say Carl and I have been extra flirty and a little touchy. I stood on the wall as I kept watch. Carl stood a little ways down as he stood there with me. "Hey Cutie!? Want some lunch?" I called out and he came over to me. Tobin and Jose took our spots, and we walked back to the house. Aaron and Eric had Judith, so we came back to an empty house.

We closed the door behind us and instantly I was pinned against the wall and lips on mine. I thought I heard something so I put my hands on his chest, as he pulled away and looked at me weirdly. "You o-" I shushed him. After hearing nothing I shook my head. "Sorry. I thought I heard something" I said, and kissed him again. We turned and went to walk up the stairs. I went super slow just to tease my horn dog of a boyfriend. Carl groaned, as I walked super slow up the stairs. "Chloe!" He called out, but I just laughed.

I yelped as Carl picked me up and carried me upstairs. We went to our room and closed locking it behind us. He laid me on our makeshift bed on the floor, and conencted his lips with mine once again. Flipping us over I straddled his waist as I leaned down to kiss him, before pulling away and taking my shirt off. Carl flipped us once again, as he leaned up to take his off.

When it came time for dinner Carl and I took a shower and dressed up in our flannels. We left the house and went down the street to Aaron and Eric's. I knocked on the door, as Carl wrapped an arm around me. "My favorite little ones!" Eric gushed and I giggled as he let us in, before wrapping us each in a hug. I tucked hair behind my ear, as Aaron came out with Judith. I smiled wider at the baby as I walked over to Aaron. "Hey Jude" I gushed and side hugged Aaron. "Well it's time for dinner" Eric told us.

Carl sat next to me, as Aaron sat across from me, and next to Eric. Judith sat in her highchair we brought over this morning in between Eric and Carl. "Well I'm no Carol, but I make some mean lasagna" Eric gushed and placed some on both of our plates. "This looks delicious Eric. Thank you" I said and he smiled. "Yeah thanks" Carl said and we dug in.

After dinner we said our goodbyes, and I took Judith while Carl took her highchair. "Why do you get the baby?" He asked and I smiled, as Judith laid her head on my shoulder rubbing her eyes. "She loves me more" I teased and he scoffed. We got back to our house, and I opened the door for Carl. I stayed outside and sat in the rocking chair. I rocked Judith slowly, as I softly sang her song to her. "Hey Jude" I started, and continued until she was just dead sleeping weight on my shoulder. I got up slowly and walked inside. Carl took her from me, and I went to our room.

I sat against the wall, as Carl came in. "She asleep still?" I asked and he nodded putting the baby monitor on the desk. He come over and laid next to me wrapping his arms around my waist. He laid his head in my lap, and I smiled running a hand through his hair. "I have watch tomorrow, and Tara is coming in the morning for Jude" I told him and he mmhmmed. Carl gripped me tighter, and I smiled as I just kept running my hand through his hair.

I must of dozed off because I woke up to someone shaking me. "Chlo" I heard faintly and I opened my eyes to see Tara leaning next to me. "Morning love birds" She said and I yawned. "Morning" She smiled and said "I got Judith you two gotta get up and ready" She then stood up and turned leaving our room.

I turned and smiled at Carl who was sleeping still. I ran a hand through his bangs and kissed his cheek. "Wake up love." I said and he opened his eye at me before closing it and wrapping his arms around me pulling me to him. I chuckled and said "Come on. I gotta get up" Carl just hugged me tighter. I kissed his cheek again, and he let me up. I changed and went to our bathroom.

Carl came in and we brushed our teeth together, before going downstairs. I kissed Judith's head and waved to Tara, as I pulled Carl out of the house. I turned and froze as Tobin stood there. "Hey Tobin whats up?" I asked, as Carl came up next to me. "Aaron needs you in the pantry today. I'll take your spot on the wall today" He told me and I nodded. "Alright."

Carl walked to the pantry with me hand in hand. We sat in the far corner on Olivia's old desk. We just sat in silence as we leaned on each other. Suddenly Tara came in carrying a box. "Whats that?" I asked. Michonne came in too carrying a box. "Go help you two" She said smiling and we looked at each other before jumping down to go help. After loading everything in to the pantry I took count and inventory. I gave Tara the list of guns before I went back to the house.

When the next morning came I sat inside at the table. Rick came in and smiled sightly "You guys behave while we were gone?" He asked and I looked up. "Yeah course." I told him and he chuckled. "Do you know where Rosita could be? She didn't show for her shift this morning?" He asked but I shrugged. Rick nodded with a hmm before going outside.
