AN: As always, I'm sorry this took so long to post. I've been really busy with school, my friends and mother's day. Also, updates will probably be taking a long time because of finals coming up. I need to study my ass off and of course there will be other homework and other test. Just be prepared for updates to take a week or two for awhile. After June 13th, I'll be out of school and can post a lot more. I have a really good idea for this story, which goes along with another suggestion I got. Lastly, this is dedicated to rockgoddess234 for suggesting what should happen.

Song: This The End by The Maine

Tyler

"What do you think about this chorus?" Melody questioned pushing her notebook towards me. It was surprising she let me read her work. Usually she kept it to herself until she was finished the whole song. The paper read:

Everything is ten times better when

When you are next to me

You get the best of me

This is not how I remembered

You go you go

But will we see the end of this?

"I think it sounds good so far," I responded, shifting on my bed. She had been writing a ton of new songs lately. They were all amazing, but I would think anything she wrote was great.

She opened her mouth to say something when my phone rang from my nightstand. I reached over to silence and saw it was Jake. "Do you mind if I answer?" I asked. As much as I loved spending time with Melody, I hadn't spoken to Jake in awhile.

"No, of course not," she replied, taking her notebook back from me. She started tapping her pencil against her paper lightly to the beat she had in her head as I picked up the phone.

"Hey," I greeted my friend. As I looked over at Melody, who had a look of deep thought on her face, I couldn't help but smile. She was too cute when she was trying to write.

"Hey, man. I called to apologize," he started. My brow furrowed in confusion. He had nothing to be sorry for that I knew of. "See, I was telling Matt about what I did over the weekend and I mentioned Melody and I think Leah might've heard," he explained. Matt was another one of our friends that I hadn't spoken to in a really long time. I really missed him along with everyone else I used to hang out with.

"Oh," I replied, my heart sinking slowly. Even though I was kind of afraid to know what Leah, the crazy girl who was in love with me, might do now that she knew I had a girlfriend, she was all the way in London. The possibility of her actually acting on her jealously was slim. If I still lived in London, the story would be different, but I was sure I was safe here.

"Sorry. I really didn't-" Jake started.

"It's ok. You didn't mean to and what is she gonna do when we're so far away? I doubt she'll show up or anything," I cut him off, glancing over at Melody. Thankfully, she was still deep in thought and wasn't listening to what I was saying.

"Ok, I'm glad you're not mad, but I gotta go help my mum with dinner," he said before we hung up and I turned back to my beautiful girlfriend. I pushed some of her dark hair out of her face and behind her ear as a smile appeared on her face. I couldn't help but think about how much I love that smile; how much I loved her. She had definitely pulled me in deep and there was no getting out anytime soon. I was falling for her hard.

1 week later...

Melody's body was snuggly pressed against mine as we watched her favorite movie: The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. We were wrapped up in a blanket and my arm was around her as we watched as Charlie fall for Sam in the comfort of my living room. The movie thankfully was actually pretty good, so I paid no attention when there was a knock at the front door. I just figured my mum would get it.

A few moments later, I heard a voice I had dreaded hearing since I was in fifth grade. The high pitched voice could only belong to one person: Leah. My eyes practically bulged out of their sockets. What was she doing here? How the hell did she figure out where I lived? My mind was racing. Her creepiness had escalated to a new level.

"Tyler's in the living room," I heard my mum tell the girl I hated most. I wished I could send my mum telepathic signals, so I could've told her to tell Leah I wasn't home or something. I guess I had been wrong when I had thought I would be safe as long as we were far away.

I heard Leah's voice thank my mum before I heard footsteps coming towards us. Melody looked up at me with confusion as she sat up. She opened her mouth to start a sentence, but she was immediately interrupted.

"Tyler!" Leah squealed as she entered the large living room. She was just the same as I remembered her: oversized glasses adorning her face, braces-clad teeth, and what she considered to be 'fashionable' clothing.

"What are you doing here, Leah?" I questioned coldly as I reached over to pause the move. There went the nice day I was suppose to have with Melody. We had planned a movie marathon since it was raining outside, but it didn't look like that would be happening now.

"I came to see you. I heard Jake say you had a girlfriend, but I can't believe you would do that to me," she responded. Melody shot me a look that was illegible. She was probably thinking I had lied about Leah just being so insane girl who like me. She was probably thinking she was my girlfriend even though I would never go for someone like Leah.

"Well, we're not together, Leah, and we never were. So, I can go out with who I want. Just because you have so fantasy that we're a couple doesn't make it true," I responded, rudeness laced in my voice. Even though my mind was still trying to comprehend that the most annoying girl I knew was somehow standing in front of me, my mouth had no problem coming up with something mean to say. It's not that I wanted to be mean, but I had made it clear that I wanted nothing to do with her plenty of times politely and nothing seemed to get through to her.

"But, Ty, I thought we had something special," she wined. Her definition of 'something special' was this one time at some girl's party where she had cornered me and gave me the worst kiss I could ever imagine.

"Well, we don't. I have something special with Melody, but I will never have something special with you," I replied with a frown. Before she had came, I felt so happy, but now all the anger in the world had come into my veins. She really knew how to drag me down.

"But, Tyler, what about-"

"Leah, I don't like you! I never have and never will! I'm happy now and if you really like me as much as you make it seem, you'll let me go and stop embarrassing yourself," I cut her off, my voice rising. As harsh as the truth behind the words I had said was, it was just that: the truth. She had been pestering me for years and I was sick of it. I thought I got rid of her. She needed to leave me alone. She was unwanted here.

I could see there were tears in her eyes, but she turned to Melody, who was watching in awe with wide eyes. "Watch out, you whore," she threatened. Before I could yell at her for insulting my girlfriend, she turned and walked out of the room. Melody looked up at from her spot on the couch still in shock.

"Don't listen to her. She's crazy. You're the only one I want to be with," I told her before kissing the top of her and turning the movie back on. I really wanted to tell her I loved her right there and then, but I was afraid she wouldn't feel the same. Even though we were young, I knew that what I was feeling was strong enough to be love.
