CHAPTER TEN
After breakfast sasaglit daw si Xander sa office. Si Anne daw yung tumawag.
So I agreed and asked him kung pwede ako pumunta sa bahay namin. He said yes but told me to come home early because we’ll have dinner together tonight. I can’t help but feel excited about it.
Pagka-alis nya, naligo na ko’t nagbihis then pumunta na ko sa bahay namin. The only reason I’m coming is because namimiss ko sina Nanay Pearl at Tatay Arturo.
Pagdating ko sa bahay si Ate Giselle yung nagbukas sakin.
“Ay Mam Andy, hello po!!!” greet nya sakin.
“Hi Ate Giselle! Sina Nanay Pearl po?”
Oh diba ang saya. Sila agad hanap ko.
“Buti pa yung mga katulong hinahanap mo, sarili mong pamilya hindi mo hanapin” bigla namang may nagsalitang lalake sa likod nya.
I frowned upon hearing that voice. It was my father’s.
“Hello Dad! Nice to see you too” sabi ko sarcastically.
“Come inside, we have to talk about something” then pumasok na siya without waiting for my answer.
“Well, this’ll be fun” sabi ko, and I rolled my eyes at him then sinundan siya.
Nagulat ako ng makita ko si Aries sa dining table namin nakikipag-usap kay Mommy at kay Bubwit. Actually he was enjoying Bubwit’s company.
I got my cellphone out and texted Xander. At least he knows where I am and who I’m with, maybe he can save me later.
‘I’m here at the house. My Dad’s home :(’ text ko sa kanya.
‘Oh that’s so much fun *sarcasm voice*’ he texted back.
‘Funny Xander. You can save me later if ever I need to be saved right?’
‘Ofcourse babe :)’ the fact that he had a smiley face on made me smile.
‘Oh you’re brother’s here as well’ I informed him, better that he knows now than later.
The fact that I’m being honest with Xander is making me feel funny.
‘What the hell is he doing there??’ reply nya.
‘I dunno. Don’t worry I’ll behave :)’
“You better be’ how I wish he can see me roll my eyes at him.
‘Haha... Funny -_- Wish you were here though’ reply ko na lang.
It was true. Between him and Aries, I somehow prefer his company more.
