CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE
“I’m on my way LouLou, bakit ba atat ka masyado?”
“Just because!!! Now come on!! Hurry!!!”atat nya sakin.
“Okay geesh... Calm your panties woman!” sabi ko na lang sa kanya
Binabaan ko na siya ng telepono.
I was going to meet Louise for lunch. Ewan ko ba sa babaeng toh at bigla bigla na lang nagyaya.
Dumating ako sa isang posh Chinese Restaurant.
I told her name and the receptionist lead me to her seat.
She immediately jumped at me pagkakita nya sakin.
“Oh my god! I missed you!!” salubong nya sakin.
“I missed you too!!” which I really did.
She was so busy, we rarely see each other now.
Umorder na siya ng food and we talked and talked and talked. God I miss talking to her so much!!
“So why did you ask me to come here? And where is Celine??” tanong ko.
“Oh the bitch is in a cruise with her new fling. I’ll just call her before we talk about something” while sipping on her wine.
“Talk about what?” I asked curiously.
But she ignored me and dialled Celine’s number.
“Hey bitch! Hallelujah for your call!”
“Let me guess you just woke up after fucking the lights out last night with your fling” biro ko sa kanya.
“Right and wrong. Right that I fucked last night, wrong because I’m not with my fling who decided to go be an ass and run off with cougars. But luckily I found a familiar face who was willing to fuck with me”and naughtiness can be heard in her end.
“And that would be someone we know?” tanong ni Louise.
“Uhh... Let’s not talk about me, let’s talk about you guys” iwas nya sa tanong namin.
“Siguro panget siya noh” sabi Louise with a laugh.
“Whatevs LouLou. So what’s the news, why did you call?”
Kinagat nya muna yung labi nya, obviously excited about something.
“Okay you two are the first people I’m going to tell this... I’m getting married!!!!” she shrieked.
I just stared at her.
Everything was silent for a while.
Did I hear her correctly? She’s getting married?!
Nanlaki yung mata ko pagkarinig ko nung sinabi nya.
Bigla ko siyang niyakap.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!” tili ni Celine.
“Oh my gosh!!! You’re getting married!!!” tili ko.
“When?”
“How?”
“What?” sunod sunod naming tanong sa kanya.
