CELINE

Nakatulog na siya sa pagod.

Kawawa naman tong friend namin. Inlove na kay Xander kaso may bruhang kontrabida. Eto naman kasi si Xander nagpapadala sa bitch na yun.

“We have to do something” sabi ko kay Louise habang nakatingin kay Andy.

“Yes we do. Pero ano?” tingin nya sakin.

We both looked back at Andy. I feel sad for her.

Andy’s very special saming dalawa. She’s more than a friend to us, she’s our sister, our family.

Louise came from a broken family. Ako, anak sa labas.

Both our families are rich. My mom’s a businesswoman, my dad’s a politician. Si Louise, doctor ang mommy, yung daddy accountant.

Lagi kaming inaaway noon. Laging inaasar, laging minamaliit. But she came and rescued us. She defended us and when no one was there for us, nandun siya para samin.

She had her fair share of family problems. Mas mayaman siya samin pero simple pa din siya at walang arte sa buhay. She taught us that status doesn’t matter. It’s what you’re inside that counts.

Lagi siyang nanjan para samin, laging gumagawa ng paraan para matulungan kami without asking for her parents. In return, I swear never to leave her side.

Oo meron kaming mga naging tampuhan, pero nagkakabati kami pero hindi dahil sa utang na loob ko sa kanya. Nagkakaayos kami kasi pamilya na ang turing namin sa isa’t isa.

Nung iniwan siya ni Aries, we were with her all through out. Lalo na nung nagpakasal sila ni Xander.

I know he’ll make her happy. Kahit ngayon na nakikita ko siyang umiiyak dahil kay Xander, alam kong si Xander pa rin ang para sa kanya. Louise also thinks the same thing.

She’s inlove. I know how it feels. I know the pains. But I know Xander loves her too. And he’s not gonna give up. Kaya dapat siya din. Hindi dapat sukuan ni Andy si Xander.

“We have to talk to Alex” sabi ko kay Louise.

“Just thought the same thing” sabay buntong hininga ni Louise.

We tried calling their house pero walang sumasagot.

“Pano na? I don’t want to talk to Aries” sabi ni Louise sakin.

I sighed. Dalawang tao lang ang alam kung nasan ngayon si Xander.

Unfortunately isa dun yung taong iniiwasan ko. Si Cameron.

“Tawagan natin si Cam and Kabe” sabi ko.

Nanlaki yung mata ni Louise.

She still has issues *ahem* feelings *ahem* with Kabe.

I, on the other hand, is still trying to get over Cameron. I love him, sadly it’s a one-sided-love affair.

He made that clear the last time we talked.

“You call Kabe, I call Cam” sabi nya.

Umiling ako. Cam wouldn’t answer her phone and Kabe won’t answer mine.

Pare-parehas silang magkakaibigan eh.

“You know it’s not possible”

“But Celine...” angal nya.

“Lou you have to face him. Actually we both have to. Kelangan nating gawin toh, for Andy” sabi ko sa kanya.

I don’t like the idea. Especially since hindi naging maganda yung huling paguusap namin ni Cam.

Louise sighed and got her phone. We both dialled at the same time.

“Celine” he said in a not-so-happy-tone.

“Cameron, kasama mo ba si Xander?” dire-direcho kong tanong.

If truth be told, namiss ko marinig yung boses nya.

“Yes, nandito kami sa Cradle’s. Ano bang nangyari? And where the hell is Andy?” he irritatingly said, which made me frown.

“Can you not yell at me?! Pupunta kami jan” sabi ko sa kanya’t binaba yung phone ko

Nagkatinginan kami ni Louise.

“You think she’ll be fine?”

“She’s exhausted. Baka bukas pa gising nyan”

Pagod siya. She needs this.

“How are we going to tell her about our flight?”

Isa pa yun. I feel guilty na iiwan namin si Andy on a time like this.

“I have no idea. One problem at a time Lou. Tara na” sabay kuha ng car keys ko.

“You’re not gonna change?” sabay taas ng kilay nya.

I’m in a shorts and tank top and a polo. I just came from a shoot kaya ganito suot ko.

“I’m good. Let’s talk to the Three Bastards” tapos lumabas na kami’t sinara yung pinto.
