CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

After lunch natapos ko na yung mga dapat kong gawin. Medyo okay na ko, the flowers helped. I happily went out of my table para pumuntang floor ni Xander.

Pagdating ko sa floor niya wala si Anne baka nasa CR.

Kinatok ko muna siya dahil baka may kameeting si Xander.

“Anne?”

“Yes Ms. Andy?” sagot nya.

“May kameeting ba si Xander?”

“Wala po Mam, pasok na po kayo”

“Okay, thanks” then umalis na ko.

Paghawak ko sa doorknob ni Xander, I suddenly felt chills on my spine.

Oh my god! What was that?

Inignore ko na lang at binuksan yung pinto nya.

“Xander ito na yung desi-”

Naputol yung sasabihin ko sa scene na naabutan ko.

Victoria was standing infront of Xander, in her birthday suit. She was not wearing anything at all. Tapos si Xander nakatingin lang sa kanya, as if watching a goddamn porn show!

Nahulog yung folder na hawak ko and I can feel tears stinging in my eyes.

Napatingin silang dalawa sakin. Nagulat ata sa presence ko.

Nanlaki yung mata ni Xander.

“I didn’t know there was a strip show going on, edi sana mamaya na lang ako pumunta” sabi ko, trying to make it seem normal pero my voice was already shaking.

“Andy” he looked at me apologetically.

“Sorry for disturbing your f*ck” sabi ko na lang and forcefully shut the door.

Sakto namang palabas na si Anne sa CR.

“Miss Andy ano pong nangyari?”

“Akala ko ba walang tao Anne?! Bakit nasa loob si Victoria?!” sigaw ko sa kanya.

Namutla naman siya at nanlaki ang mata, sign na hindi nya talaga alam.

“Miss Andy hindi ko po alam”

Bago ko pa siya masagot, binuksan ni Xander yung pinto nya. Sa likod nya nakita ko nagbibihis si Victoria.

She smirked at me. I hate her so much. I’ll make her pay.

Nagmadali akong pumasok sa elevator na direcho sa ground floor.

Buti na lang at kaibigan ko tong elevator ngayon dahil pagpindot ko nung close button sumarado naman siya agad. My tears started falling.

Hayop na Alexander Lopez toh! Ginagago ako!!

“Andrea please listen to me first! Andy please!!” habang pinipindot nya yung button sa labas para bumukas yung pinto.

I was jabbing the down button while my other hand was pressing the close button firmly.

“Come on! Go down already!!” frustrated kong sabi sa pinto.

After a few more jabs bumaba na yung pinto. Ayoko nang dumaan sa floor namin.

Sumalampak ako sa lapag ng elevator at umiyak ng umiyak at nagwala sa galit.

How dare he do this to me?!

I’ve trusted him tapos ganito lang!!!

Ipagpapalit nya pa din ako sa bitch na yun?!

How could he?! How dare he?!

F*ck you Xander! F*ck you and your f*cking explanations!!

So much for making this f*cking marriage work!!!

Pagdating ng second floor tumayo na ko, not bothering to fix myself.

I was still crying, I bowed my head but I can feel everyone staring at me.

F*ck them! Bahala sila!

Buti na lang may dala kong phone at pera.

“Andrea!” rinig kong tawag sakin.

I can’t do this. I can’t face him.

Tumakbo ko palabas ng building not bothering kung sino mabunggo ko.

Paglabas ko ng building may humigit sakin.

"Andy please just let me explain! It was all a misunderstanding!" sabi nya sakin.

Pero binigyan ko siya ng isang malutong na sampal.

PAK!

I can see shock and hurt in his eyes. Pero galit na galit talaga ko sa kanya ngayon.

“Damn you Xander!!! I trusted you shitface, tas ganito gagawin mo?!” sigaw ko sa kanya.

“F*ck it! Sampalin mo na ko ng sampalin, for all I care! Just listen to me!!!” he begged.

But no matter how much I want to listen to him, ayoko. Masyadong masakit.

I released my arms from his hold tas pumara agad ako ng taxi. I didn’t look back.

Nasa labas ako ng condo ni Celine.

I called her and begged for her presence. Tinawagan ko din si Louise before I shut down my phone.

Nakaupo ako sa labas ng pinto ni Celine umiiyak. I look like a poor kid. And I was feeling one as well.

“Andrea!” narinig kong may tumawag sakin.

Pag-angat ko ng ulo ko si Celine.

“Awww... Honey what happened?” sabi naman ni Louise.

“Xander *hik* and that bitch *hik* on the office” tas napahagulgol nanaman ako.

Tinayo nila kong dalawa’t pinasok sa loob.

I was crying my eyes out sa kama. They made me change into something comfortable.

"He's such a f*cking bastard! I can't believe him!! At yung putang inang babae na yun, I’ll kill her!!"

"Shhhh... Don't cry honey. Maybe Xander has an explanation" yakap sakin ni Louise.

"And you said it yourself, she was just naked, so walang nangyari" sabay upo ni Celine sa tabi ko.

"So?!! The fact na hubad siya sa harap mismo ni Xander makes me so mad and hurt!! How could he even stare sa motherf*cker na babae na yun!!!" iyak ko.

"Galit ka lang, but once you calm down, you'd think rationally" sabi ni Louise sakin.

"Nakakainis lang kasi eh. What if.. what if gusto nya makipagbalikan sa bitch na yun??? Sinabi ko pa sa kanya to warn me. Inassure nya ko at nagpadala naman ako!!" sabay iyak ulit.

God, I'm becoming a crybaby.

"Awwww honey hindi magagawa ni Xander sayo yun! He's a sucker for you sweetheart" sabay yakap ni Celine.

I sniffed and blew my nose.

“Honey you’re inlove with him already aren’t you?” tanong ni Louise.

I want to lie and say no. I want so much to say no. I wish I didn’t love him at all. But I am, I’m inlove with him.

I nodded and then cried hard again. They just hugged me.

Buong araw kaming nanuod ng sappy romantic movies at kumain ng comfort foods ko. Nag-grocery saglit si Louise. Si Celine naman, sinamahan lang ako magdamag until I fell asleep sa pagod.
