Chapter 4: Annabeth

A/N: Hey Guys! I'm soooooo sorry! I said I would update Sunday or Monday... and it's Friday.... again I'm sooo sorry and hopefully you enjoy the chapter. I don't really have an updating schedule so I'll just be writing as fast as I can so won't edit much so I'm sorry if there are mistakes.

I can't believe I have fought the evil Titan Kronos, won, and I have also fought the romans, stupid romans, well more like stupid Octavian, AND I have fought Arachne and won, AND fell into Tartarus and made it out ALIVE, and of all things I have ALSO fought the earth mother Gaea of all things and out of all of that I get captured by stupid people in cloaks. I can almost remember how it all happened...

~~Flashback~~

"C'mon Piper we have to get to Camp Half-blood, fast." I say already kinda jogging down the streets of New York to Long Island Sound.

"Can we just take a little break, maybe get some lunch?" Piper complained. I knew this was serious cause Piper never complains. I looked up to find a clock and it was 2:48p.m. Had it really been three hours of us walking? Wow... "I'm sorry I didn't realize how much time has past... how about we go to Percy's moms candy shop?" Piper replied with a nod of her head then stopped, "I thought she gave up that job." Piper said. "Oh... I thought she was taking some afternoon shifts and night ships for the extra cash." I said, she gave a slight "oh" and we continued down the streets of New York.

When we arrived I open the front door and saw Sally Jackson at the cashier table, it looked like she was writing in a journal of sorts, her long black hair was draped around her shoulders, the soft curls were really fascinating as they cupped her face. When she looked up and saw us she looked more than happy to see us, "Annabeth! Piper! How are you guys doing?" She asked in an excited tone "what are you guys doing away from camp? Are you guys on a quest?" She was firing us with questions that we could barely catch up, we just nodded our heads along with what she was saying.

Then Piper interrupted her, "You can calm down." The charmspeak in her voice made me want to sit down and take a nap, she continued but wasn't using charmspeak this time, "Yes we are on a quest and we are trying to get back to Camp Half-Blood but we got tired of walking for hours and decided to come here and chat!" Piper said with a wide smile on her face.

Sally seemed relieved "So! Do you guys like some candy?"

After 10-20 minutes of talking we decided to continue walking to Camp, "Can we walk through that park?" Piper asked, she didn't wait for my answer and started walking into the park.

"So... whatcha want to talk abo- ahhh!" I screamed as two hands grabbed me from behind. I got out of their grasp and pulled my dagger out.

I spun around to find three guys with dark cloaks on. In the corner of my eye I saw Piper ready with Katoptris in her hand at the ready.

"Now, now no need for weapons." The guy on the left said. He took off his hood and he was bay far the hottest man I have ever seen, and that's saying a lot.

He approached me and my eyes widened as he grabbed my hands and held them behind my back, I struggled against the death grip he had on my hands. I stopped struggling and kicked him in the place where sun does not shine... he doubled over and let go of my hands, I then round-house kicked him in the head.

I ran over to Piper and we took defensive stances to attack, I started to charge the other two figures but then a wall of transparent energy appeared in front of us but we kept running to find that that 'transparent energy' was like a wall, we slammed into it and fell backwards onto our butts. I looked around and we were surrounded by the energy, I snapped my head back to the figures when one the one who I kicked in the head said, "Funny thing about forcefields" oh that's what it was... he
continued "you can't really escape them, well Tam Song has but that's different." The middle figure had his left hand raised towards the force-field.
