Chapter 5

Jay's POV
I woke up before Erin so I just let her sleep while I made breakfast. After maybe 45 minuets Erin woke up and went into the bathroom which is how I knew she was up. So I set her breakfast on the isle.
E~ " morning" her voice sounded rasper than usual
J~ " good morning beautiful" I walked up to her and kissed her on her forehead
J~ " how's your sides?"
E~ " better than last night for sure"
J~ " that's good!"
E~ " yeah"
J~ " that food is for you" I say pointing to the plate on the isle
E~ " thank you" a smile formed on her face
J~ " it's nothing"
E~ " so what do you want to do today?"
J~ " whatever you want to do"
E~ " maybe we could just stay home and watch tv"
J~ " okay if that's what you want to do"
E~ " okay" Erin finished her breakfast and we sat down on the couch her head laying down on my lap, she sat up for a minuet
E~ " jay?"
J~ " yeah Er?"
E~ " you know how much I love you right?"
J~ " yeah Er I know, butt do you know how much I love you?"
E~ " yeah" She laid her head back down and I was stroking her hair as she fell asleep for about 2 hours . I felt her start to get cold so I grabbed the blanked that we kept on the back of the couch and covered her with it. I got up carefully not to wake her up so I could call hank to see if he'd pick up me and Erin some lunch
{on the phone}
J~ " hey hank it's jay"
H~ "watcha need Halstead?"
J~ " do you think you could pick me and Erin up some lunch if you aren't doing anything I've already paid for it, it just needs to be picked up, if you can't I'll call Adam"
H~ " it's no problem I'll be there in a bit and where did you get the food"
J~ " the Chinese place by the district"
H~ " gotcha I'll see you and Erin in a bit"
J~ " thanks hank your a life saver"
H~ " no problem"
{end of phone call}
I look at the couch to see Erin still sleeping, so I dig in the fridge to see what I can fine to make dinner with. After a few minuets I feel arms wrap around my waist
J~ " hey your up"
E~ " yeah"
J~ " how'd you sleep?"
E~ " good"
J~ " hank should be here any minuet with out food"
E~ " food sounds amazing right now"
J~ " I know I'm starving too"
There was a knock at the door and then hank walked in
H~ " I come barring food"
E~ " ahh thank you hank"
H~ " no problem kiddo. Hey Jay"
J~ " hey voight"
H~ " how long are you gonna do that?"
J~ " do what?"
H~ " call me voight outside of work"
J~ " sorry it's a habit"
H~ " well break that habit"
J~ " yes sir"
H~ "well kid I've got to get back to work"
E~ " what do you mean work, it's a Saturday"
H~ " you know a cops work is never done"
E~ "alright, I'll see you later"
H~ "yup"
E~ " I'll be at work Monday"
H~ " noooo, you'll be here Monday"
E~ " hank I'm so damn tired of being stuck at home all the time"
H~ " I know"
E~ " I won't be in the field I'll be on desk duty"
H~ " I guess I can't stop you can I?"
E~ "nope I'm coming in either way"
H~ "fine I'll see you Monday"
E~ " yup"
Hank left and me and Erin  ate and watched 'the grinch that stole Christmas' since it's so close to Christmas.
J~ " Er I don't get this movie at all"
E~ " what's not to get" she said chuckling
J~ " first of all the guy is green, mean, and what the hell is with the yellow eyes"
E~ " I don't know babe" she said looking up at me
After a while I looked at Erin and she was asleep on my lap. I get up off the couch and pick her up being careful of her sides and bruises, put her in our bed and lay down with her for the night.
{3:30 am}
I wake up and check the clock and I hear Erin in the bathroom throwing up. I walk in and check on her
J~ " you okay baby?"
E~ " yeah the Chinese must not have agreed with me"
J~ " come on let's lay back down, I'll grab you some water"
E~ "okay, thank you"
J~ " anything for my girl"
E~ " I love it when you call me that"

Hey guys sorry it took me so long to update! I will be updating again as soon as I can, I've been super busy as my winter break is coming up so I've been slammed with tested and stuff with my school! So like I said I'll be updating again as soon as I can!
