chapter 8: love and electricity

Frank's P.O.V

once me and Teresa got home, the guys got here also, the house was quiet, I'm surprised Bella and Gerard aren't home yet, I wonder how there doing. after about an hour, we hear a car pull up in the driveway, I'm guessing it was bella and Gerard. Teresa looked outside the window but she looked at me confused. I take a look outside the window but it was only Gerard, where's Bella? by then Gerard opens the door and I rushed over to him.

Frank:"where's Bella?"

I said and he stays quiet looking confused.

Gerard:"I thought she was here.."

frank:"no why would she be here if she was with you!"

I started getting mad, I wanted to punch him for not taking care of my lil sis but he was a really good friend, I can't do that.

Gerard:"well idk, we were at lynz house and she went to the bathroom but she never came out, me and lynz checked all over the house but we never found her so I just came home figuring if she was here or not."

Frank:"what happen between you and lynz?"

I said quietly, I remembered how when Bella gets sad she usually runs away to sit in her favorite spot under a tree and doesn't come back til she's happy again, she would do that a lot when we were younger.

Gerard:"well...I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes so we started making out."

Frank:"you what!!! can't you see that my sister is falling for you!!"

Gerard:"no she's not! I can tell that she has no feelings for me!"

Frank:"that's where you're wrong."

I said as I grabbed my coat and car keys and started driving to the tree where she stays at.

once I arrived I see a girl sitting down under a tree with her head leaning on the tree. it was the same tree from where we lived together before here in los Angeles but then she moved to new jersey and now that she's back to los Angeles, she has her tree again. I parked the car and sat next to her. her hair was wet and her clothing was soaking wet, her eyes were red and puffy from crying and she was really quiet. I place my hand on her hands and tried making her laugh by singing twinkle twinkle little star in a high pitched voice, that would always make her laugh.

Frank:"twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are, up Above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky, twinkle twinkle-"

*Isabella starts laughing*

yes I made her laugh! I'm at champion at this.

Isabella:"thanx, I really needed that."

Frank:"you ok?"

Isabella:"well I wasn't but since you made me laugh, I guess I'm better than before."

Frank:*smiles*"cool...well let's get you home."

Isabella:"I don't wanna go home. I don't want to see him."

Frank:"well you can't stay here every night."

Isabella:"I'll do anything not to go back."

Frank:"please. it's not safe out here."

Isabella:"just go home. please. ill go right now. I just need some time alone. if you don't want me walking home, ill just call Teresa. I need a girl talk anyways."

Frank:"bells-"

Isabella:"please."

Frank:*sighs* "alright..just call when you're on your way."

Isabella:"thanx."

Frank:"just be safe."

Isabella:"I will."

I look at her then kiss her head as I walk to my car and started driving away.

once I got home, I see Gerard sitting on my porch looking worried. I got out of my car and walked over to him.

Gerard:"where is she?"

Frank:"at her favorite tree, she's gonna come home later, she'll call when she's on her way."

Gerard:"no."

he says as he takes out his keys and rushes to his car.

Frank:"Gerard she wants to be alone!"

I said as loud as possible for him to hear.

Gerard:"this is my fault so I have to fix this!"

he says as he turns on the engine and drives away.

Gerard's P.O.V

I start driving as fast as I could to where bells was and I find her under a tree. I park the car and wait a little too think of what to say. as I was thinking it started to rain hard. we have weird weather just in case you didn't notice. I got out of my car careless of getting wet and I walked up to her and took a seat next to her.

once I took a seat, she noticed it was me so she puts her hoodie on.

Gerard:"bells I'm sorry...if you saw what I think you saw with me and lynz...it's because I asked her to be my girlfriend and she got really happy and yea."

once I said that Bella got up and started walking away.

Gerard:"but I regret it!"

I said loudly for her to hear and I'm assuming she did because she stopped walking.

Gerard:"I only asked her out because I thought you had no feelings for me...but then Frank told me you did and that was when I regretted my decision and felt like a jerk."

even tho I couldn't see face I saw her raise her hand to her face, I'm assuming she has tears. I walked up to her and turned her around for her to look at me and grabbed her chin, I was right. her eyes were red and puffy and she was soaking wet from the rain, just like me.

Gerard:"bells ever since i saw you, I was crazy about you, I thought to myself 'Gerard you need to go get her. so what are you waiting for?' and I tried doing that but I thought that I was failing on what I had planned. I like you bells. and I should've asked you out instead of lynz."

after that little speech I could tell she was letting some tears escape, the rain continued but it started raining hard, the streets were like small pools but you're still able to drive on them. Bella looks down and walks away.

Gerard:"bells please!"

I said Loud enough for her to hear but she ignored me so I ran up to her and turned her around to look at me again and then I connected her lips with mine. they felt warm and wet from the rain, I had shivers everywhere, once our lips connected it was like electricity running thro us and thankfully she kissed me back but after a minute she pulled away and placed her hand on my chest and looked down.

Isabella:"you have a girlfriend."

Gerard:"I know...but I regret it...it should've been you...not her."

I said as she looks up at me and kisses me.
