chapter 29: I'm coming home

isabella's P.O.V

I sighed as I slid the green button to answer it, I was shaking. I knew he would be mad, in fact, he's probably furious about me leaving; I just need to speak to him for one more day.

Isabella:"hello?"

Frank:"where the hell are you?!!"

Isabella:"Frank?? what are you doing on Gerard's phone?"

Frank:"my phone died. now answer my question! we all saw your little note."

Isabella:"listen...I know this might be confusing for all of you but...I just need to move on."

Frank:"from what?! family? love? I've been worried sick!"

Isabella:"how is he?"

...

Frank:*sighs* "not good."

Isabella:"why? what's wrong?"

Frank:"what? you actually care now?"

Isabella:"Frank I'm serious! I still love h-"

Frank:"oh yea?! is that why you left us?!"

Isabella:"Frank. I need you to pass the phone to him or else."

Frank:"or else what?!"

Isabella:"I'll be gone for good."

...

there was a moment of silence as I decided to turn on the mini chimney in my room.

Frank:"fine."

I finally heard him say as I heard movement thro the phone call. the movement stopped until I heard his breathing.

Isabella:"Gerard? u there?"

Gerard:"what do you want?"

Isabella:"I just...wanted to check up on you."

Gerard:"well stop. you obviously don't care about me or any one else. you just care about yourself right? is that it?!"

Isabella:"Gerard no! I love you and everyone else!"

Gerard:"then why did you leave?!...why did you leave me?"

he says, I could tell he was trying to hold back tears and so was I...hearing his voice full of pain just makes me regret everything...tho I couldn't hold it, I broke into sobs while I hear Gerard go quiet.

Isabella:"Gerard I'm sorry...I'm so so so sorry...I-i don't even know why I decided to leave...I'm so stupid."

Gerard:"hey, you're not stupid. you never were, I over reacted...you wanted to move on and start a new life...I understand that now...tho...you can't come back."

Isabella:"what? why?"

Gerard:"I'm sorry."

he says and hangs up

Isabella:"Gerard?!...Gerard no!"

I started crying more as I feel to the floor and threw my phone across the bed. I rub my fingers thro my hair as I heard someone knocking on the door.

Isabella:"who is it?"

I tried to sound normal but apparently it wouldn't work.

Brendan:"me Brendan..can I come in?"

I Stood up and went inside the bathroom as I washed my face. when I was done, I walked over to the door and opened it revealing Brendan as he leaned against the door frame.

Brendan:"hey, you ok?"

Isabella:"never better."

I said as I turned Around and took a seat on the bed while he walks in and shuts the door behind him.

Brendan:"I could have sworn I heard crying in here."

Isabella:"crying? I wasn't crying."

Brendan:"why are your eyes red?"

shoot.

Isabella:"I hardly got any sleep last night. so what brings you here?"

Brendan:"well I was just listening to music when all of a sudden I hear the name 'Gerard'...I'm guessing you guys spoke."

Isabella:"alright fine. I was crying and yes it's about Gerard..."

I said as he took a seat next to me on the bed.

Isabella:"hearing his voice...it..it made me regret coming out here...I regret hurting them like that...I was thinking about going back but Gerard wanted me to stay here...and why?..I don't know...he didn't say...instead he hanged up."

Brendan:"I'm Sorry about that...so..what are you planning on doing?"

Isabella:"I don't know."

I said as we watched the chimney with a small fire.

Brendan:"I'll go with you."

Isabella:"what?"

Brendan:"I'll go with you back home. besides...I reaaally want to meet Mikey...you have no idea. besides, if we go back..maybe we'll find out why Gerard wanted you to stay here."

Isabella:"yea..I guess we could try that."

Brendan:"awesome! ok, we'll leave tomorrow morning!"

he says as stands up and walks over to the door

Isabella:"wait but 1. I just got here and 2. I paid for three nights here."

Brendan:"that's why there's refunds."

he says and walks out. well...I'm coming home.
