chapter 22: Graduation Day

today's the day. today is my graduation day, I can't believe I'm already here. I've been in school for 12 years and I'm finally done well...besides going to college...I put on my royal blue sort dress and straightened my hair and made a few girls on the bottom, I applied some make up and headed down stairs, frank was already ready, along with the guys.

Frank:"you look pretty."

*Isabella smiles*

gerard:"no. she looks beautiful."

he says with a smile making me smile and blush, I still don't know if Frank knows were dating but I'm gonna try to confirm it to him soon. we headed out the door and got inside the car and started driving to school.

we arrived and saw many students getting their cap and gown, which were black. I got in line to get my cap and gown and quickly put it on.

I came out of the dressing room and Gerard walked over to me holding a small box with a silver ribbon.

gerard:"graduation present."

he says with a smile and handed me the small box, I Greece it and opened it finding a necklace with matching earings, the necklace was shaped as a diamond heart and had the letters G and I, on the back it said 'forever'. I just love it so much.

Isabella:"does this strand for me and you?"

Gerard:"yea."

I smiled like crazy, I loved it so much that I was getting tears of joy, it was so beautiful.

Isabella:"I love it!"

I said and hugged him as he hugged me back and kissed my head.

gerard:"it's me and you against the world."

he says as our hugging continues, I smiled and pulled apart and he grabbed the necklace from the box and turned me around as he moved my hair out of the way. he put on the necklace and turned me around to face him.

Gerard:"now you're perfect."

Isabella:"thank you."

I said then we hear the daughter turn on.

"ladies and gentlemen, we would like all seniors to come to the football field for the graduation ceremony, if you havent already, please put on a cap and gown, the ceremony will start in 10 minutes."

says the lady on the speaker.

Gerard:"I guess you should go."

Isabella:"yea."

I said with disappointment.

gerard:"hey don't worry, we'll see each other soon. I'll miss you tho. I'll be the one in the front row."

I nod and he kisses my forehead and walks away to sit in the bleachers. I sighed and then I see my only friend here in this school. Styles.

Styles:"hey chica! you ready?!"

Isabella:"uh, yea I guess."

Styles:"cool, well let's go I guess, otherwise we'll be late."

I laugh and nod and we made our way outside

once we were out, the music band was playing 'counting stars' By one republic, people were sitting on bleachers, graduates sitting or just hanging out with friends in a random area on the field. pretty soon, the bell rang which was a sign that people should be in their seats right now, I took my seat next to styles and the principle began talking.

principle:"welcome everyone to the 2014 graduation ceremony! seniors. you made it. you've struggled thro tough obstacles but you made it. high school isn't just about Education to students, oh no. for students it's the four years of friendship, love, breakups, changes and so much more but you were all brave and don't give up. how about a round of applause for the fellow graduates."

he says and the crowd began clapping and cheering.

principle:"now let's get this ceremony started!"

he says as people began clapping and cheering and the principle began calling names and handed diplomas to the students. after about 10 more minutes, he called styles, and I was after him.

principle:"Isabella Iero."

he says and I make my way on to the stage, I could hear Frank yelling out my name as I walked to the stage, I shaked the principles hand and grabbed my diploma then took a seat. after about 30 More minutes, the principle finally finished reading off Names.

principle:"congratulations class of 2014!!"

he says and people started clapping and cheering and all the seniors stood up from their seats and jumped while taking off their cap and throwing it in the air. today was fun, everyone was having fun, laughing and talking and meet with their parents and friends.

Styles:"well I'm gonna go find my dad Bella, hope to see you in the summer! bye!"

he says and leaves, I was left in the middle of the field alone while everyone was surrounded in groups and taking pictures, when you're standing alone it feels pretty weird. where are the guys? I kept looking around me too see if I could spot them but luck wasn't on my side until I feel hands around my waist.

gerard:"miss me?"

Isabella:"lots!"

I said and he laughs then crashes his lips against mine, I could hear a few people from other crowds aww's and ooo's, tho we pulled apart when I heard Frank arrive.

Frank:"oh guys, no need to stop, I know you guys are dating, and since its your graduation day well I'll be ok with it."

he says causing both of us to smile, I was so happy that he wasn't upset so I hugged him.

gerard:"thanx man."

Frank:"no problem, just take care of her."

gerard:"always."

Frank:"well come on guys! let's go celebrate!"

he says and we left the field.
