'She wears strength

Half Goddess, half Hell.'-Nikita Gill.
~Ingrid spent a lot of time with her daughter Helga, cherishing every moment and everyday with her. She reminded Ingrid so much of Ivar, her looks, the dark brown hair that grew on her little head and the way Helgas very blue eyes would watch her mother closely as Ingrid would tell the baby stories of the Gods and of Ivar the Boneless.
At times when she'd be rocking Helga to sleep at night, Kristof would stay at Ingrids side and watch as his adopted mother would sing a song to this small baby with piercing blue eyes.
"She's tiny" Kristof commented one night as Ingrid held baby Helga in her arms.
"She is but she will grow up to be strong just like you Kristof."
"But not right now?"
"No my lille venn not right now but one day she will. But you must promise me that you will stand by and look after your sister."
"I promise maudir."
"That's my little boy" she tells him as she brings the little boy in for a hug, who then places a gentle kiss on little Helgas head. There was a sudden knock on the door,
Ingrid turned her head to see Ubbe make his way into the hut.
"Uncle Ubbe!" Kristof greeted and ran to towards the Viking who lifted the little boy up into the air, only making him laugh in pure delight. He soon placed Kristof back onto the ground, and made his way towards Ingrid and Helga. Ubbe placed a gentle kiss on Helgas forehead.
"She's so beautiful."
"I know" Ingrid whispers as she admires her beautiful daughter.
"She gets her beauty from her mother."
"Ubbe" Ingrid warns. After there moment together Ubbe didn't want to leave Ingrids side, she had just given birth to his beautiful niece.
His niece Helga, she was the most gorgeous baby he'd ever seen and the smile she would give her uncle anytime he would appear in the hut was a beautiful site to see.
"Why are you here?" Ingrid asks.
"I need your help."~
She galloped through the woods with Ubbe straight towards the beach
"Maudir?" Ingrid saw her mother speaking with Floki.
"What is the meaning of this?" She asked as she jumped off her horse.
"Floki is leaving again" her mother tells her. "He is taking these people to the land of the Gods."
Ingrid stepped forward towards the boat builder.
"I hate saying goodbyes to you Floki.""I know lille venn."
"I'll never see you again" she tells him. The man nodded his head. "But I will always be apart of you lille venn, in there" Floki says as he points to her heart. "And you will always be in here" he tells her as he points to his heart.
Ingrid wraps her arms around the boat builder one last time. She believed for definite that this would be the very last time she would ever see Floki the boat builder. She hoped the Gods would bring him back sometime to Kattegat or Ingrid hoped one day she'd see him again. Or maybe one day in Valhalla.
Ingrid pulled back, tears welling in her eyes as she stared at the man who had taught her so much about the Gods.
"Farewell voyager" she whispers to him. "May Odin give knowledge on your path. May Thor grant you strength and courage on your way. And may Loki give you laughter as you go, Floki the greatest boat builder."
Ingrid walks away from Floki daring not to look back, because she knew it'd be difficult to let him go again.
