Indigo Pov: (new character )

"Indi!"

"What!" I shouted back.

"Can you please help me with your brother!" Argg i rolled off my bed, shutting my laptop in the process. Making my way down the stairs, i almost ate it. Shit i was just testing gravity. After making it safely down the rest of the steps, i walked in the kitchen, to find my little brother on the kitchen table, crying his eyes out.

"Hey babe." I said rubbing his back. "Whats wrong bub?"

"I don't understand i-it." He said letting more tears escape his eyes, falling to the wood table. I sighed, wiping his tears away. And taking his pencil in my hand.

"Ok look, What does this sign mean?" I asked pointing to one of his math problems.

"Uh minus." I nodded, moving to a different problem. "and this one is add." He said with a little more excitement in his voice. "but i still dont get it its just to hard."

"C'mon ill show you a way to make it easier." he nodded.
"You like cars right?"

"Yes.?"

"Ok lets say you have 7 cars. Then you let one of your friends barrow 3. how many do you have left.?"
He looked at me like i was talking an other language. Then started counting his fingers. After 5 minutes he got it.

"4!".

"Yep you see you got it. Now just do that for everything else. and if you have to add do the opposite." He nodded happily going back to work.
I got up leaving him to figure out his work. My mom was in the kitchen cooking dinner. The strong smell of her famous chicken slapping me in the face.

"Your such a good help to him." she stated mixing something.

"Yeah well what are sisters for.?" I said feelin my self, the cockiness is coming.

'"Oh please. How are you so good with him doe?"

"Remember Unique?...yeah well she's dyslexic, but thanks to me she's way stronger in school." i said with a sad smile.

"Oh right, speaking of Unique. Her mother called a few days ago and apparently shes having a family reunion and wants us to come. So we can catch up. I think we should go. You and Unique can maybe catch up, yall was the best of friends before. Ion know what happen with yall, but it needs to be fixed. And quick." she said switching the stove off and callin us to come eat.

Hi im Indigo Fay. I have long honey brown hair, and dark brown roots. Im 5'8, and 18. I have a carmel complexion, and green hazel eyes. Im thick and i love it. You see me and Unique were best friends way before anyone of her little friends now. We grew up together, shes my other half. But it all had to end when i moved back to my home town. New York. Its official. Me and Davon are together. Everything's great. We've gotten supper close, its like i've known him my whole life. Everything seems to be falling in to place. I never thought i'd fall for him as hard as i did. Lately i've been sleeping over at his place, and let me tell you right quick, its amazing. I need to know what job he doing, shit having all that money rolling in. Anyways right now we at his place, chilling. Just having a lazy day pretty much. Its nice waking up every morning seeing his smile. Ever time i look at him my mind goes on a trip.

"Ey what you thinkin bout?"
His deep voice rang through my ears.

"Uh nothing." i lied. In all honesty he already had me thinkin bout our life, house, and kids. I was cut from my thoughts by my phone ringing. I answered with out looking.

"Hello?"

"Hey babygirl." It was my mom.

"Waddup?"

"Well im having a family reunion next week. We need to see everyone, plus they all asking bout you, and wanna see you." She said.

"So you wanna do a family reunion on my birthday." I said getting aggravated.

"Huh honey what are you talking about its not your birthday next week." I just stood there gettin more pissed as the seconds go bye.

"How you gon tell me it anit my birthday next week?! You the one who gave birth to me on that day! Do i need to fucking pull out the birth certificate!?." I shouted back on the phone. Earning a questioning look for Davon. I shook it off giving him 'ill explain later' look. He nodded leaving the room. While my mother on the other hand was stammering trying to find the right words to say. I mean like seriously how can you possibly forget someone's birthday? Especially your own fucking child. Its not, like she suffering from memory lost. This why I don't want this bitch in my life. But something is telling me to give her this Chance. Its kinda like God is telling me take this chance to Forgive her. I really don't like that I grew up without her half my life. All my friends are supper Close to their moms, then there me. I wanted help from her but that didn't go how I wanted it to. Maybe this Family reunion would be good. Hopefully it brings us closer to each other. It might Just work.

"hello, baby girl you still there?. . . Unique?!"

"huh.. Yeah?"

"I Said I'm sorry I but are you up For the reunion?" She asked her voice Softer, then before.

"uh yeah sure but I'm bringing my girls" I Stated getting ready to hang up.

"ok ill text you the info for it later."

"ok bye" with that i hung up. Tossing my phone on the love seat. Now to find Davon. I walked around the house calling his name softly.

"in the kitchen bae!" He shouted. Following his voice was the only way i would get there. I still get lost around this big ass house. He was stood over the stove making his famous grill cheese. He turned his head smiling at me, then wrapping an arm around me.

"So next week... family reunion.... wanna come?" I asked looking up at him with pleading eyes.

"Haha sure." He said kissing my head. "Lets eat."
