"I'm glad you didn't kill him." Shaleen said in between laughs at the other line of the phone as she finished telling her about her encounter with Wonwoo. She seemed so amused by her story. If she only knew.

Oh, I love to kill that man!

Leanne still can't forget what he said – his exact words. The more she thinks about everything he said, the more she fined herself getting mad. How dare him! Who is he to say that I stoop down my level just to get attention?

She can perfectly watch over herself. She doesn't need him to take care of her if he's just doing it forcefully.

She hates him! It's because of him why she lost her brother. And even if the world turned upside down, it will never change. He's committed a crime against her. And that she should never forget.

"You? Maybe you want to do it." I told Shaleen with a dry humor.

Shaleen turned quiet for a while before speaking again. "He wouldn't want that."

Her chest tightened at the sad note of her voice and she almost cursed herself for giving her a reason to remember Light. She's just thinking of herself. But Shaleen . . . she lost her heart too when her brother died.

"I knew you'd say that." She nodded almost absent-mindedly. Shaleen never blamed Wonwoo for Light's death as she does. That it was an accident and no one wants it to happen. But still . . .

"Don't worry. I'm with him. I'll take care of him."

She shut her eyes hard as if she could force those words out of my head. She tried to warn Wonwoo that night. But she just had her faith on him. She believe him taking care of her brother, that he'll never let anything bad happen. But he failed her. Light died.

I forced out a smile and said too brightly. "Anyway, I'll be leaving now."

"You have somewhere to go?"

"Yep! I have a contract signing now and one photoshoot." She walked out of her flat and took the lift, ignoring the fact that she'd see Wonwoo again, and berated herself at the way her heart beat wildly at the thought of it.

"What? I thought it's your break now? Why are you working?"

She sighed. She once told her she's not going to work for now. It's just that . . . "I can't pass up on this one. You know how I longed to see myself as a model of SPEED CHASE."

When she received that news from Daehyun, she didn't waste any time and compelled to it directly.

"Light's car photo collection." Shaleen whispered as she got inside her car.

She smiled at herself. But she knew it was not a happy smile. "You still remember."

"I still remember everything about him."

And for a minute, we fell silent reminiscing how Light used to collect any SPEED CHASE Series release, when Chase just start running his car business since he retired because of his injury. He wanted to meet the man behind the things he idolized.

But he'd never had the chance.

"Well, send me a selfie on your photoshoot." Shaleen broke the silence. "It's a pity I can't watch you on your first photoshoot. It will be awesome seeing people fussing over you."

She relaxed when she finally heard joy in Shaleen's voice. She was also imprisoned in grief because of Light's death. And it's nice she has finally found her happiness again and moved on from that tragic night.

"Where are you now?" She asked her as she started the engine of the car.

"LA. We'll be staying here for another two days before our flight back to New York."
