"Wonwoo! What are you doing?"
He stopped dragging her but he didn't let go of her arm. "What? Are you just going to stand here?"
He didn't give her time to answer and started to pull her again. "Just come with me. The party's about to end anyway."
Leanne groaned inwardly. Stubborn brute!
Honestly, she just wants to go home than to come with him to anywhere. Yet she can't really understand. She can't just tell him that.
She just let him drag her until she found herself inside his car. We followed his brother's car to the hospital with his wife close to delivering her baby in the comfort room.
She then remembered what happened. Good thing that she was there that time because if not, something might have happened to Taerin.
She looked as white as paper. She really thought that she'll really deliver her baby there so in panic, she just shouted all over the place for help. And then she saw Wonwoo near the comfort room area.
Leanne then threw a glance at him while he's driving. He held his jaw tight, his eyes deep in thoughts. He looks so worried. She would think he's Taerin's husband if not for the way he was holding my hands. Even now that we're riding his car, he still hasn't let me go.
If they were in a different situation she would have bit his hands by now. But there was something with the way he gripped her hand that stops her from pulling away. It felt like he needed someone to be with him tonight.
That's silly a thought. Why would he? It's not like it's his wife who's going to give birth. But looking at how worried he is . . .
When we arrived at the hospital, the other entire siblings were there outside the delivery room except for Irene, Chan, Hansol and Seungkwan. They all just nodded to them when they sensed their presence.
They all share the same worried look. The easy and charming smiles they wore earlier this evening was completely wiped off from their faces. And for a minute, she saw the resemblance of the Choi brothers even if she knew how they ended up to be siblings.
Jeonghan, Jisoo, Junhui, Soonyoung, Jihoon, Dokyeom, Minghao and Mingyu – they're all brooding males in this instant. Even the ever composed Choi Seungcheol was all in pain when he arrived at the comfort room that time. He clearly went nuts. She can only imagine how Taerin's pregnancy tied him in knots.
"Where's Seungcheol Oppa?" All of them turned their heads when Irene and the rest came
Jeonghan stood up and hugged her. "He's in there with Taerin. Why are you here? How about the party?" He asked when Irene sat next to Wonwoo and her.
Irene shrugged. "Takashi's there to entertain the guests. Besides, I want to be here."
Jeonghan sat down again after walking back and forth for a while. They were all silently waiting for the delivery room door to open.
They all looked worried. It seems like she's just the one who looks the opposite. Nothing bad will happen to Taerin, right? She'll just give birth. Well, okay, the pains of labor are really ugly but aren't they excited to see their nephew or niece? What are they so worried about?
Bu of course, she's not part of their family that's why she's not too worried not like them. And she's not really in the place to ask them that. They must feel apprehensive because Taerin's a family.
"I hope she's okay." She heard Irene say.
Wonwoo held Irene's hands "Taerin is strong. She'll be okay, just like the first time."
