WARNING: Slight SPG :D
Last night was the first night Leanne slept at home again after four days she has been taking care of Wonwoo. She just left some of her thing at his condo and left with Irene after they had their dinner.
She knows she was escaping from him. She just wanted to get away as soon as possible and avoid the questions he will ask her once they're alone again. In the end, she was a coward who couldn't tell him about the simple thing that she did.
It's an irrational fear. Even her, she can't tell what going on with her. But she just remembers that time when he kept on sending her away at the photoshoot, how he was opposed to it. He really did not like that.
But that was before! A part of her mind shouted. The circumstances had changed now. They're okay now, or at least they're starting anew. What they established was still frail and it might break if one of them takes one wrong miscalculated step. And she doesn't want that to happen.
So she went to Carat Empire, at the SPEED Department to find Sey Chelle and talk to her before Wonwoo comes. She knows Sey Chelle will be there because she will represent their agency for the upcoming cup race. She has to stop her from spilling the beans before she destroy something that was important to her.
She started to jog up to get to the closing elevator when she saw Sey Chelle board the lift.
"A?" Sey said with a surprised look on her face as she stepped in. "What are you doing here? Your work will start next week, right?"
"Emergency." She said and turned at the three people they are with at the elevator.
Good thing they are too busy with their phones. She doesn't want some eavesdropper lurking behind them and start a gossip. Sey Chelle understands it that's why she didn't asked her yet.
"Emergency? What kind of emergency?" She asked once they were inside the conference room where the meeting will be held. The room was empty and she was grateful for that. It was larger than the conference room they used before. It seems like a lot will be attending the said meeting.
"Wonwoo will come to work today." She said nervously to Sey Chelle when she remembered the meeting – and Wonwoo.
"So it's true that he's okay now?"
She nodded. "Yeah. He's okay, but he still needs to be careful because of his fracture. He still needs rest but Jeonghan pulled him to work back again." She stated as she paced near the window, as if moving could help her calm down.
Sey Chelle kept quiet for a while. "And the emergency is . . .?"
"Sey." She sighed. She stopped pacing and looked at her. "I didn't tell Wonwoo about this."
"So? Just tell him if that's worrying you." She suggested as if that was the easiest thing to do. Maybe on her part yes. But for her, it's difficult. She groaned out of frustration and started to pace again.
"A, would you calm down?" Sey said again. "Just tell him."
"Sey, it's not that easy." She cried as a protest.
She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms — a familiar stance she uses when she's trying to put some sense into her head.
"What's so hard about it? You will just tell him. It's not as if you committed a huge crime. And I'm sure he will understand if you explain it clear. Besides, you're an asset of their company so he might as well be happy about it."
That actually made her pause and think. Maybe she's just overthinking. Well, she is overthinking. "God, I'm freaking out!"
Sey came to her and softly tapped her arm. "You think too much, Aianne."
