Jeon Wonwoo.
After five long years, he's now right in front of her. He still looks the same. If something changed about him, it's that he's got more handsome and taller.
He got the muscles that were not there before, The hard ridges and hallows of his abs and the expanse of his muscled chest inside his white long sleeve polo that is made in finest cloth, His tailored black slacks hugged his powerful thighs fully emphasizing his strong built and height. He was bigger now, taller, stronger and world – stopping handsome.
He always has this pointed look ever since before. He's like every model you can see on magazine covers. She could always see him on very gossip columns but the pictures there didn't do justice on him.
Raven black hair that is carelessly swept back from his beautiful face, his foxy black eyes that bore on her until the ends of her soul, perfect pair of eyebrows, sexy red lips, strong jaw and perfect toned skin. He looked mature, rough and harshly old. His aesthetic features hardened through time.
Yet with Jeon Wonwoo, one of the Carat Empire heirs, it will always be more than just the looks. He always possesses a kind of magnet that demand great amount of attention. Aside from being an arrogant and cold popular guy he was back in the middle school days, he has always been a symbol of fear and intimidation because he's one of the heirs of a multi-billion dollar empire. He had always been carrying an invisible crown of fear and authority. Darkness seemed to be his lonely companion. And surprisingly, it suited him well.
But now, staring at the man in front of her, she couldn't even see the shadows of the boy she once admired. Without any doubt, the man he has been now is very impossible to ignore and resist. Armed with supreme confidence and, based on those gossip columns, his destructive sex-appeal and over flowing wealth.
Yet the sin he committed will never be forgotten. It was hiding behind his dark eyes. The guilt and grief. She can clearly see them.
It has been long five years. If Light was there, if he's still alive, she knows he would force her to forgive Wonwoo. He has been that kind.
"Long time no see, Leanne." The curl of his tongue taste bitter as he called her name that pulled her out of her reverie.
He immediately pulled his hand away from hers. Leanne's smile was tightly plastered on her face, trying to hide how his deep voice made her heart skip a beat. Touching him again even if it's just his hand for a very short period of time made their books of memories together open up again. From the very first time they met, the first heartbreak up to the first smile and tears.
"You've come far now." She complimented as she try to calm her racing heart down. She held on civility and politeness even if all she wants to do now is turn around and walk away. Her professionalism is the only one holding her now.
"And you've become a car racer." She could sense the anger in his voice as his eyes showed sharpness but immediately vanished.
She knows that he was surprised to see her, especially now that she has become a car racer just like him and her deceased brother. It was indeed funny and ironic. She once hated the world that took her brother's life but it's the same world she knew on where to find his memories again.
If she pushed away the world her brother loved all his life, then it's like she threw away his memories and the dream they made together.
"Surprising isn't it?" Leanne smiled. "It's really a shame that I can't ask you to race with me. I heard you retired. I really wanted to beat you, though."
"Now this is interesting." Jeonghan jumped in their conversation. That's when they both remember that he was there with them. She grimaced at the fact that Jeon Wonwoo once again grabbed her full attention. "I've been waiting for the moment where Wonwoo gets to lose on the race track he made by himself." Jeonghan muttered in excitement as he tapped his younger brother's shoulder.
