Chapter 8

MATT'S P.O.V

We speed to the hospital running all the red lights and arrive minutes after running 5 red lights we arrive at the hospital. they immediately took her away leaving me alone in the waiting room.

- 3 hours later-

MATT'S P.O.V

3 HOURS! ITS BEEN LONG HOURS AND THEY STILL HAVENT TOLD ME ANYTHING!!!!! Just as I was about go up to the front desk for the 50th time a nurse walks into the waiting room

nurse- " Mr. Espinosa

Matt- " that's me, is she ok?!"

nurse- " shes fine and she said she wants to see you, she just woke up tho so shes still a bit woozy

matt- " ok?"

she musta noticed my confusion because she says

nurse- " she woke during a blood test and she started panicking again so the doctors had to put her back to sleep so they gave her some meds so they wouldn't hurt her, but shes fine'

Matt- "room?"

Nurse- " 559"

Matt- " thanks"

she nods her head and walks away and I turn around and run to her room 557,558......559 I burst through the door and run to her hugging her as tight as possible without hurting her. she pulls away and her eyes instantly change from green to blue. yup shes still upset about the whole Cameron thing. you see her eye color changes with her mood

sad- blue

normal/happy- light green

mad- brown (like mine)

annoyed- dark green

" Mekayla, hey Mek look at me" she looks up from her lap her eyes a brighter blue than Nash's. wow I didn't know that was possible. " Mek its ok, he wont be mad. I promise" I grab her hand. man it really kills me to see like this. im glad my eyes don't change colors with my mood, don't get me wrong itd be so cool, but itd be bad right now because shed know that im upset. " matt its ok to be upset, but don't be upset over me" dang it I forgot we are the kind of twins that can read eachothers minds. its cool because we freak the crap outta people when say things at the same time or finish eachothers sentences buts its also bad because what if we wanted to keep a secret from one another which we don't were to close for that but what if we had to. then we'd be in trouble but the mind reading thing only works when where in the same room. " Mek of course im gonna get upset when your hurt or when your upset because your my baby sister and I love you" she rolls her eyes and mutters " by 2 minutes" she crosses her arms over her chest and pretends to pout.

'( this means that they are talking to eachother though there minds)

Matt- I know whatll make you smile

Mek- what?

Matt- scarring the crap outta the nurses

Mek- yea but how?

Matt- with our twin powers

we've always called out mind reading thing our "twin powers"

Mek- awesome let me push the button to get the nurse

she pushes the button and a nurse with bright red hair (dyed obviously) and bright green eyes walks in

nurse- " how may I help you" she asks putting on a fake smile

the other thing about our twin powers is that we can read other peoples minds. I know creepy right? we figured that out when we where 8 years old. no one knows about it except for eachother.

nurse- why the heck did these kids call me in here my shifts about to end

I turn to Mekayla and say, with my mind of course

Matt- this lady doesn't want to be here, her shifts about to end

Mek- ok so what do we do

Matt- just watch.

" well I didn't know that your shift was almost over, and by the way where not kids, where 17" I say and Mek tries holding in her laugh but fails miserably. I have to admit it was kinda hard not to laugh at the face she was making

" what? how did you know that?" her voice was shaky. haha!

" we have our ways" me and Mek say at the same time

Nurse- these kids are scaring me. holy crap!

Matt to Mek- haha shes freaking out on the inside!!

" what did I tell you, where not kids and why are you scared?" I ask with a smirk

she just stands there in shock. This is fun. we should do this more often.

" um. ok. Mekayla your free to go" the nurse said before running out of the room.

haha yaaaassss I made my sister happy and got her outta the hospital.
