Chapter 34

Connor's P.O.V

** TUESDAY **

Today is Mekayla's birthday!! Which means today's the day I'm gonna ask her to marry me. There's so many emotions rushing through me; I'm scarred, nervous, excited, happy and some other emotion I can't explain.

I called the fanciest restaurant I could find here in L.A last week and made reservations. Everyone's coming O2L, Jenn, Andrea, Tyler, Jack, Rebecca, Andrew, Nash, Cam, Matt, Caroline, Lauren, Arden, and Troye who is in L.A for a week.

Ugh! Ok I need to quite stressing everything is gonna be perfect. I decided to go downstairs to get some coffee.

Mekayla's P.O.V

So me and Matt are just roaming the mall occasionally walking into stores and looking around.

"Hey Mek?" Matt says

"Yeah?"

"Happy Birthday" he smiles

"Happy Birthday to you too!" I cheer

"Finally 19!"

"Yeah it came up fast this year" I exclaimed

"Yeah I know! It feels like just yesterday we were turning 18 in Virginia and now we're here in L.A with some of our best friends!"

"I know a lot has changed since last year!" I scream. A little too loud I may add

"Yeah and you seem to be a lot happier too" he has a point I've been clean for 6 months now.

"Yeah. Hey let's go in there!" I say pointing to a new store that had just opened. I grab Matt's hand pulling him into the store.

Once we get into the store Matt is laughing so hard to the point where yes crying.

"Matt it wasn't that funny" I say laughing at little at his reaction

"Ye- yeah I-it wasss" he says trying to catch his breath

"Whatever I'm going to look around" I say walking off to the women's section

Ok the clothes here suck! They all look like they where made for fat old ladies. Ok I'm leaving

"Matt you ready to get outta here?" I ask walking towards the exit

"Yeah the clothes here are terrible! I mean the teens section looks like it's suppose to be the elderly section!" Matt complains

"Haha yeah. So where to next?"

"Ummmmm let's go to the food court I'm huuuuuunnnnnnnggggggrrrrryyyyyy!!!!" Matt whines

"Ok ok." I say

We make it to the food court and I walk to the shortest line which was SubWay.

I order and meet Matt at a table.

"What you get?" I ask

"Panera" he replies through a mouth full of soup

"Awesome" I say before taking a bite of my sandwich.

Once we finish it's time for us to head to the O2L house where we're gonna meet up with everyone and go to the park or something.

"Jeez Connor planned everything out didn't he" Matt laughs

"Yup"

We hop in the car and make our way to the house.

Once we get to the house we get out the car (Get Out Me Car, sorry had to) and walk towards the house.
