Chapter 13

Mekayla's p.o.v

"What do you want John?" I ask more calmly than intended

"I want to say I'm sorry for what I did. I'm sorry it was a stupid mistake!"

"Yea well guess what? Your not forgiven! You gave no idea how much pain you caused me! I don't care if the only thing you did was slap me but what you don't know is that I actually thought I loved you! I was stupid enough to fall for your lies!" I screamed letting my anger slip through my lips

"Wait you love me?"

"I thought I loved you but I was so wrong! You were playing games with my mind and you made me believe that I did but I know now that I was just under your stupid spell!" This time I got everyone in the café's attention

"Mek calm down" Caroline butts in

"I'm so done John I've been done for awhile!" I scream before storming off with Caroline trailing closely behind

"What happened back there?" Caroline asks. I never really told anybody the full story

"We'll that was my ex John"

"Yea I know that but what did you mean he slapped you"

"Yes" I whisper

"Oh my god did you tell Matt?!"

"No"

"Why he could of helped you or at least done something"

"That's the thing I didn't want him to"

"Why?"

"Caroline look I've caused Matt enough trouble, why do you think he kept me a secret from everyone even his own friends!" I shout at her

"Mekayla you know that's not true! Your brother will do anything for you! You have caused him any trouble!" She shouts back

"Really?! Mow blind are you? I'm just his demented sister who has anxiety and is mentally unstable!" I shout back

"Your not demented or mentally unstable and lots if people have anxiety! Your are an amazing person and nothing will change that! Your brother love you! I love you! Connor loves you! You are loved and your aren't a trouble to anyone so quit telling yourself all these lies!" She shouts back

"Really because all I am is a suicidal freak!!" I scream back at her

She's taken back by my comment. I didn't mean to say only my brother knows about my attempts....
