Chapter 32

Connor's P.O.V

*2 weeks later*

I got out of the hospital a week ago and Mekayla gets out tomorrow so today me and Caroline are gonna go look for a ring for Mekayla.

I've made a plan I'm gonna ask her to marry me on her 19th birthday which is coming up next Tuesday. I asked Matt if that was ok and he said yes as long as we don't have the wedding until she turns 21 which is ok it's only 2 years that'll give us time to plan things out and stuff.

"Dad are you ready yet? You've been fixing your hair for 40 minutes!" Caroline yells snapping me out of my thoughts

I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen where Caro is

"Yeah I'm ready" I say

I grab Ricky's keys and head out the door will Caroline trailing closely behind

"Hey dad?"

"Yeah" I shut the car door as does Caro

"I'm I kinda maybe just a little bit have a small tiny crush on Kian" she says unsure

"Aww that's cute" I say

"Wait really?" She asks

"Yeah you guys would be cute!"

"Awesome. So you'd be ok if we dated?" She asks

"Well yeah but if he breaks your heart imma break his face"

"But the think is I don't know if he likes me"

"Well I could talk to him or get Mekayla to"

"Um sure either of you can"

"Ok" I smile

(A/N: so I was gonna make Matt and Caroline date but then I realized if Mekayla and Connor are gonna get married I can't have Matt and Caroline date because Matt would technically be her 'uncle' so yeah)

We get to Kay's Jewelers and I instantly see a ring that stands out

"I think I've found the one" I say

"What about the 2 you where stuck on?"

"This ones better than both!!" I yell running over to it

"What do you think Caroline?" I ask pointing to the ring

"It's beautiful!!" She says in awe

"Excuse me ma'am I'd like to buy a ring" I say to the woman behind the counter

"Ok which one?" She ask. I point to the ring

"Ok what size would you like it in?"

"Um a size six"

"Ok we will have that ready for you in an hour, can I have you number so I can notify you when it's ready?" The lady asks

"Yeah it's ***-***-****" I give her my number and walk out the store

"Hey Caro wanna bring some Taco Bell to Mekayla?" I ask

"YES! I am so excited that she's gonna be my mom! I mean yeah it's a little weird but I'm just glad she's someone I get along well with and if I ever need advice I can go to her! I mean yeah I can talk to you about something's but other things I need to talk about with a girl" she says in excitement
