RECAP:

I had way too much pride to admit it to Marcus, so I decided not to mention what happened in the park. I pushed my key into the door and opened it cautiously, sucking in my breath, preparing myself to walk without showing the pain I felt at my ankle.

Marcus/Trevor's POV:

I was currently sitting on the sofa watching the re-runs of The Big Bang Theory, waiting anxiously for Victoria to come home. Alexis came to pick up her niece twenty minutes ago, Victoria should be back by now. I can't believe that I let her go in that park by herself, after dark. I couldn't concentrate without knowing that she's safe. Maybe I should go back to the park incase something happened?

Just when I was starting to think the worst, the front door opened to reveal a slightly flustered Victoria. Relief and happiness overwhelmed me and I smiled widely at her. "Your back." I stated.

She chuckled lightly. "Yes, I'm back and I have returned with Anne Marie's book bag." She raised the book bag in the air to confirm her words and smiled half heartedly, closing the door behind her, walking slowly towards me, with a tight smile on her face.

I frowned. "You okay? Did you run into any trouble at the park?" I asked, concern evident in my voice.

"I'm fine, I'm...really tired." She carefully sat down on the sofa next to me and rested her head on my shoulder, before tossing the book bag onto the coffee table. I kissed the top of her head and put my left arm around her. She smelt like vanilla and lavender, the scent was intoxicating. I wish there could be something more between us. I wish I could kiss her whenever I wanted to and run my hands through her soft and silky jet black hair.

"Are you sure you okay?" I pressed.

"Mmhm." She grunted. I rolled my eyes, as I heard her deep, steady breathing a few moments later. Wow, she must've really been tired to just fall asleep in a matter of seconds.

Victoria's POV:

"Victoria? Victoria?" A heavenly voice pulled me out of the dark abyss of sleep. My eyes fluttered open, only to see the most captivating forest green eyes I've ever seen. As the haze of sleep lifted, I realised that my head was resting on the lap of the holder of those breathtakingly green eyes. I drank in the other features of his face; his soft, caramel brown hair, some of the strands brushing his forehead and his rugged five o clock shadow. He was perfect. "Are you an angel?" I asked, slightly dazed from the intensity in his eyes.

He gave me a confused look, but chuckled nonetheless. "Victoria, I think we should get to bed now." I ignored his suggestion and sat up so that I was sitting on his lap, my legs still resting on the sofa. I put my right arm around his neck and leaned forward.

"What if I don't want to go to bed yet?" I spoke suggestively in to his ear. His body stiffened at my words as I pulled away to look at his leaf-green irises. A splash of surprise smeared across his face.

"Victor-" I pressed my index finger to his luscious lips, silencing him.

I looked deeply into his eyes, which were molten with lust. "I think I'm giving in." I admitted. In this moment, I couldn't care less if he had a girlfriend out there somewhere: I wanted him. I removed my finger from his lips and replaced it with my own. He instantly responded, our lips moving in sync. A ripple of pleasure swam through my body, as I felt him fist my hair and ooze out as much passion into the kiss as he could. He manoeuvred our bodies so that I was laying on my back on the couch and he was hovering on top of me between my legs. He broke the kiss only to pepper kisses along my jaw and down to my neck, sucking on my sweet spot. He pulled away in order to look into my eyes.
