Announcement

Rose's POV

We broke out of our embrace with huge grins plastered on each other's faces. Knock knock knock. We heard before the door opened and Mia's head popped in through the door.

"Hey"

"Come here you" I said as Mia walked in and before she could say a thing we engulfed her in a hug earning ourselves a big 'oomph'  from her surprised self.

"I'm feeling the love ladies but dinner is about to start and the guys are getting antsy."

We broke out from my second hug in one day. A few months ago I honestly would have never thought Lissa, me and Mia would become good friends. We're not exactly besties but I know for a fact the three of us are more than enough girl power against all the shit the moroi world will throw at us.

We walked out of the Lissa's room and made our way to hall briefly meeting the boys again and then making our way to the dining hall piling our trays with food then proceeding to our table.

It was just the five of us since Adrian couldn't participate in school events which includes the announcement due this dinner. It was me,Christian, Lissa,Eddie and Mia who didn't have a trial guardian since in this senior year there were more moroi students than there were novices in this academy.

I was about to pop a fry in my mouth when it was rudely snatched away but non other than...well guess who?

Adrian

"Hey that's mine!my dinner"I whined glaring, snatching my tray closer to me.

"If this is what you eat for dinner I don't want to know whats for breakfast"he bit back smirking.

I threw him back a sly smirk of my own.

"Well now since you've asked its_"

"Ew ew ew Rose no sexual innuendos we're trying to eat here"Lissa exclaimed while Mia and the rest snickered.

"So what'd you guys think is up for attention"Eddie queried.

"I don't know I'm not a student"was Adrian's automatic response.

"Apart from inebriation I doubt you have some expertise elsewhere"I retorted and smirked triumphantly as the gang laughed.

"You wound me little damphir"said Adrian.

"I doubt it"Christian remarked clearly trying to spell 'back off she's my girl'.

"I think it could be about frequenting strigoi attacks around the area."Lissa spoke up.

"What exactly would Kirova have to say to us about that."Mia asked clearly confused.

"I think Lissa's right,things arou-"I started only to be cut off by the loud and clear voice of Alberta by podium.

"Novice and moroi students of St Vlad's"immediately the chattering and all manner of conversation died down.

Head mistress Kirova walked in and forward to the podium. I watched as Dimitri and some other guardians flanked the walls. Kirova cleared her throat then skimmed her raven eyes over the whole student body.

"Thank you all for being here despite the clash in schedule this being your dinner time...BUT-"

She took a sharp breath and you could smell the tension in the air as all waited for her "announcement" to air.

"It was important for an announcement to take place before you all received your flight details from your families"

Flight details?.... Owwk why would our families send us flight details and besides my mom never loved me so I doubt I'll be stepping foot out of this place unless the route heads to court or Christian's home as his guardian. I felt a warm hand atop my own and looked up to see my soulmate smirking and his eyes looking warmly at me.
