I woke up the next morning to my phone ringing. Yawning, I stretched my arm out and grabbed it from the nightstand. I sat up and looked at the caller I.D. It was Austin. I was going to kill him for calling me this early! With a sigh, I answered. "Austin, this better be good because it's like 9 in the morning and-" I stopped talking as I heard him laughing. Rolling my eyes, I waited until he spoke. "I'm sorry Brooklyn, but everytime I see you you're complaining." he said. I couldn't help but smile. "Anyways," he continued, "I'm outside your house, and we have to be at the train station in an hour." I stood up and stretched. "Why are we going to the train station? And I'm not at my house," I replied. I heard him suck in a breath, and I bit my lip. "I...I slept in Drew's bed, by myself." I continued. He gave a fake laugh. "I don't care, just, be out on his porch soon." and without saying goodbye, he hung up. I sighed and looked in Drew's closet. After digging around, I found a pair of my leggings and his black Nike socks. I also found a pair of my high top converse. Grinning, I thought of how many clothes I've left behind here before.

25 minutes later, I was showered, dressed, and downstairs. I didn't bother to wake Ty up, because he needed sleep as much as I did, so I silently hurried onto the porch. Austin's SUV was waiting in the driveway, and I quickly hurried towards it and hopped in. I closed my door and we were off. "Woah!" I said laughing as I put my seat belt on. He grinned at me and I couldn't help but remember the thousands of times he'd taken me on fast rides. "I still can't believe you passed your road test," I teased. He laughed. "Honestly, neither can I," he replied. We laughed and settled in. After a few minutes of silence, he reached to turn the radio on, and I gasped. "Austin, is this the CD I made for you?" I asked softly. He blushed and shrugged sheepishly. "I, uhm, yeah I still listen to it. You know, because I love those songs." he added quickly. I nodded, but couldn't keep the smile off of my face. He groaned as we stopped at the light. "Oh shut up," he mumbled. I giggled. "I didn't say anything." I said innocently. I grinned up at him and he just shook his head. "You're impossible," he said. I pouted. "Impossibly awesome!" I cried. We both cracked up and I rested my head against the headrest. Suddenly, I looked over at him. "Wait a minute!" I yelled. Austin swerved and then looked over at me glaring. I smiled sheepishly. "Sorry about that. But why are we going to the train station?" I asked. He laughed. "Oh yeah, your brother wanted to go to an art show in Detroit, and he invited me and Lauren too, except he and Lauren are already there, and I had to come get you." he said. I raised my eyebrows. "Had to come get me? Don't sound so happy," I grumbled. He chuckled and patted my thigh. "I love you, I just hate getting up early." he said shrugging. I laughed and rolled my eyes before reaching over him to turn the radio up.

15 minutes later we were at the train station, and Lauren and Sam ran up to us. After hugging Lauren I turned to Sam and glared. "You woke me up way too early," I said. He laughed and then shrugged. "Cry about it loser," he replied. Lauren rolled her eyes and smacked his chest. Austin and I exchanged looks as they play fought. Thankfully, they were interrupted as the train pulled up. "Is this ours?" I asked. The three of them smiled at each other and nodded. Lauren grins and follows Sam into the car. Austin easily hops in and reaches for my arm. Smiling gratefully at him, I let him pull me up, and in the car. He wraps his arms around my waist as we look out the door. "And so," he says in my ear, "the adventure begins."
