Lena Finds Out (One shot)

Haunted

Supergirl clenched up her fists and narrowed her eyes at the man that stood tall and strong that the end of the corridor.

"What do you want?" She growled.

"Well, all I want for the Supers, you and your pesky cousin, gone." His voice was cold and could give anyone nightmares. Lex's bald head glimmered in the light and his tuxedo didn't have a single wrinkle.

"How did you get out?"

"Ah, since you didn't release me my mother took matters into her own hands, but don't think you will get your precious sister back. You didn't keep you end of the deal." A smirk tugged at the end of his lip.

"I have twenty more hours! That was the deal!" Supergirl raised her voice a tad and took two more steps forwards, threateningly.

"Well if you really did care about her then that part of the agreement never would have mattered. You would have swooped me out of that prison the second my mother broke the news." Lex started to taunt The Girl Of Steel by walking scary close to her.

Supergirl suddenly super-speeded his collar and pinned him hard to a wall causing a small table to fall and a vase that sat atop shatter. Her heat vision stared him down. "Where. Is. She." Kara demanded.

"If you kill me then you will never get your sister back, Lena will hate you, Cadmus will kill you, and the authorities will be on you tail," He listed off not even scared of the burning fire that could blast him out of existence any second, "do you really want that?"

Kara let go and made him drop and hit the carpeted floor. She turned around to furious to face him. "But I can tell you she's alive. Not for long, but is alive."

She crooked her head a bit intrigued, "We might not kill her if, you, Supergirl, choose to stay as far away from my sister as possible." Lex said calmly raising from the ground.

"What does Lena have anything to do with this?" Kara replied turning around.

Lex perked up a little pleased by her questions and continued, "Do we have a deal or not?"

Supergirl sighed aloud and said, "Fine. We have a deal."

"Good, good, well her location is all here." He said and handed her a phone live streaming video surveillance of Alex. She was in a cage and looked unharmed, but exhausted. Kara couldn't tell if she was knocked or just down right it sleeping, it was midnight after all. Her heart dropped the second she laid eyes on it.

"I can track her location using this?" She asked lookin back up at Lex.

"Yes, you can." He snickered madly, something was up, but Kara wasn't taking any chances. If she could get back her sister that is the number one priority.

Supergirl turned around to the window, going to get her sister back, but Lex's voice stopped her. "And remember, if you come close to my sister I can assure you that next time you won't see yours again."

Kara took a shaky breath and flew out the wind, cape bellowing behind her.

She flew into the DEO gracefully and hurried to Winn and J'onn. "I found Alex!"

"Really? Where?" Winn exclaimed pushing his face up from the desk and wiped drool of his face.

"Well not exactly, but I know how to find her." She quickly corrected and handed him the phone that still was live-streaming.

"How did you get it?" He asked examining the old phone.

"Well, um, that's a long story." Kara said quickly. "Can you track down the surveillance?"

"Yes, actually." He seemed surprised at his own answer and typed some more into the tablet. " I have a location!" Winn nearly started to jump up and down with excitement.

"We better round up the agents." Spoke up J'onn. "No, no there's no time. I have to get her before it's too late." Interrupted Kara.

"Well, I'm coming with you at least." J'onn said and crossed his arms. Supergirl nodded her head and they both began towards the patio and J'onn morphed into his true Martian form.

They both shot into the air and followed the location that Winn provided. This was it. They were gonna save Alex.

Supergirl crashed through the window of the vacant abandoned building and J'onn followed behind her. "Are you sure this is the place?" Kara asked putting a hand up to her coms.

"Yes, I'm sure. Have I ever been wrong?" Winn said from the DEO and threw his hands in the air.

"Yes." J'onn and Kara said at the same time.

"Okay, first of all, I'm offended."

"Winn!" Kara said.

"Sorry, sorry." Winn said innocently and put his hands up in surrender.

Supergirl scoffed as her and J'onn cautiously walked down the damp hallway. They turned at a corner to meet a large a devoid room and their steps echoed on walls.

"Do you see anything?" J'onn whispered and Kara used her x-ray vision to help in the dank room.

"There," she pointed into the darkness, "it's a wall and door lined with led."

J'onn and her both super-speeded down causing the dust in the air to dance in the air. J'onn smashes his foot into the doorway and it flew off its hinges. There, in the corner, was a large barred up cell. And in it was, Alex.

"I'll get Alex, you check the perimeter." The Martian told her and she nodded.

He hurried to the older Danvers and Supergirl glanced around using her x-ray vision. "Nothing is out of the ordinary." She stated and turned to J'onn and flashed a smile when she saw Alex in his arm.

Kara started to walk over until she slowing stopped in her tracks. Supergirl bent backwards and put her hands out to regain balance. She stumbled backwards a bit until falling to her knees. Her strength felt as if it was withering away. Her veins in her hands and neck started to bulge green.

"Kara!" J'onn yelled and ran to her side.

"Kr-y-ptonite." She choked up and put her hands down on the ground in attempt to stay balanced. Her veins on her forehead started to stretch down and she groaned aloud. "Getting.... worse."

"But I don't see any-" he immediately stopped himself and jumped to his feet holding Alex close and walked backwards. Kara took deep breaths and looked up at J'onn and her sister. They both knew what was happening.

"There's kryptonite...." J'onn stuttered a bit, "in Alex."

I decided to post this ending to make up for the last one, which was pretty bad. Please don't kill me at such a cliffhanger and a new chapter will be up... I don't know. Some time.
