Alex laid with her legs curled up to her chest. Maggie sat beside her with her arm wrapped around her shoulder.

"Kara's gonna be okay. I promise." She said softly.

"She just died. That is not the definition of 'okay'." Alex sobbed.

Maggie just stayed silent and kept rubbing her shoulder back and fourth.

Mon-el started to notice something...strange. About every fifteen to twenty minutes her finger would twitch.

That's because about every fifteen to twenty minutes Kara would try to save Alex. She saw her die. And then she would die. And then all over again.

Mom-El hurried to J'onn.

"J'onn we need to monitor Kara's brain waves... now."

"Why?" He asked.

"No time for questions." He said quickly.

"Uh, okay."

J'onn pushed a cart and wheeled it into the med bay where Kara lies. The Martian connected some wires together and stuck them to Kara's forehead.

"Will kryptonian's brains work for this?" Mon-El asked curiously.

"Don't worry, this is specially designed for aliens."

He then brought his attention to the monitor.

"That's... weird." He mumbled and furrowed his brows.

"What? What is it?"

"Her body isn't functioning, but her brain activity is off the charts." He said in awe. "And it seemed as if her mind is dying and dragging her body down with it."

"H-how it that possible?" Mom-El questioned.

"Well kryptonians' minds are wired very differently then human's so it could be a number of things."

"Is there any way we can stop it?"

"I don't know, there's not even a way we can tell what's going on in her mind." J'onn said.

"Can't you like read minds?"

"Yeah, but I can't read krytonian's mind's."

"Danget." Mon-el mumbled. "Well it is affecting her physically."

"What do you mean?" He asked turning to him.

"About every twenty minutes her finger twitches. Maybe it's a lapse in her head."

"You might be into something, because she may have lost her powers, but that doesn't mean she lost her DNA. Due to her alien genes she isn't in a coma. We just perceive it as one, but really her body is trying to heal so it trapped the person in their mind, but I don't know any way to get into her head."

"But if we find a way to do that we can see how to help her." Mom-el finished his sentence.

"Exactly." J'onn toned.

"Do you have any idea how to do that?"

"Actually, yes."

Earth one...

Mom-el and J'onn hopped out a glowing blue breach and plopped straight into Star Labs.
