One hour later...

Alex woke up groggily and squinted her eyes flinching at the unexpected sun. She rubbed her hand over her face then dragged it downwards tiredly.

She blinked a couple times and then suddenly shooting her eyes open and pupils dilated. Everything that had happened waved and crashed down upon her.

Kara is kidnapped.

Must save her.

Kryptonite.

Betrayed by Micheal.

Maggie.

Gun.

Trigger.

Alex shot up. She furiously looks around to find herself in the middle of nowhere. She immediately pushes herself up.

Alex looks behind her to find her bruised, sweaty, and worn out sister crippled on the hard earth. Green veins wormed up and down Supergirl's body.

She races toward her tears piling up in her eyes. More veins crumbled, but she didn't have time to worry about the kryptonite that sat inside her right now.

"Kara!" She cried aloud and shaking her shoulder. "Kara, please wake up! Please be okay!"

Her little sister had no response to her sister's whimpers. Kara's hand fell limp to her side showing her palm.

"No! You can't be dead! You can't be!"

She put her two fingers on her ice cold neck waiting for a pulse. A sign her heart was beating. That she was alive.

Nothing. A tear ran down her face and made her neck moist. She waited and waited for a thump.

Then there was one. Faint, and fading fast, but was there.

She smiled weakly and raced backwards hoping that her heart will beat a little more if she was away. That the stone that Cadmus put inside her was away.

Two more tears fell swiftly as she pressed her fingers against the coms in her ear.

"Th-This is agent Danvers and I need immediate assistance right now!" No reply.

"This is agent Danvers and I need immediate assistance." She said louder.

"This is agent Danvers and my sister is dying god damnit!" Alex shouted in the heat of the moment.

After waiting a few seconds for a response and nothing and ripped the earpiece out and threw it onto the ground angrily.

"Fuck!" She growled a loud and put her hand on her head.

She then pulled her phone out of her pocket and dialed J'honn's number.

"Please pick up, please pick up." Alex whispered to her self and paced anxiously and another stinging tear rolled down.

"No fucking service!" Alex cussed and thew her phone down on the ground next to her coms.

"I promise you Kara, I will get us out of here." She cooed softly now gazing deep at her sister.

At the DEO...

"Is there any way we can track down Henshaw and where he went?" J'onn asked just flying onto the porch and finally finished the fight with his nemesis.

"I'm not sure, but if there is I'm the one to find it!" Winn said stupidly.

"Hey, where is Alex and Kara?" He asked quickly as he went down the stairs.

"I....thought that they were with you." Winn responded stretching his words.

"Uh no, I thought that they would be back by now."

"Oh no." He mumbled and immediately started poking at his tablet nervously.

"I found their trackers!" He announced gleefully. "They are seven miles Midwest from the warehouse that you were just at. There are no other heat signatures around them so it's just them in the middle of nowhere."

J'honn nodded his head. "Do you want me to call the strike team?" Winn asked with his nervous smile, just as the Martian turned around.

"No. There's not time." He responded quickly. "I'm going alone." And with that he thrusted into the blue sky, soaring high above and flying past city limits.

As he flew over the warehouse that held Kara hostage he noticed how the wall had looked like a wrecking ball just slammed into it full force. Also how many armed soldiers gazed inside, but did not look in. Instead they stand with their heads down and weapons withdrawn. But he decidedly ignore it and turn directions Midwest just like Winn had said.

He spotted a little speck of Alex on her knees. There, about fifteen feet away from her laid a sprawled out figure. A vivid blue and red struck out from the brown dirt and sand.

Kara.

J'onn flew downwards, behind Alex. When she heard his boots connect to the ground she quickly got up while wiping a tear with her sleeve.

"J'onn!" Alex exclaimed and felt her chest fill with hope.

"What happened?" He immediately questioned with a firm tone.

"I-I don't know." She admitted as J'onn walked up to her sister.

He knelt down to her side and put two gloved fingers on the side of her ice cold neck. But at the same time it was burning hot.

"She need immediate medical attention." He toned urgently and picked up Kara, his back still facing Alex.

"I Willa send somebody to get you."

The Martian turned to see Alex's worried sick expression.

"Don't worry, she's going to be okay."

And with that he flew off into the sky. Alex watched as J'onn shot away holding her sister's delicate life.

J'onn punctured the clouds as he jets through the blue horizon. The white fluffy fog bloomed and misted.

He landed on the patio and ran inside. "I need immediate medical attention!! NOW!" He shouted as agents already dispersed.

Seconds, moments, J'onn ran hard to the mad bay where other agents scurried.

Every time his boot hit the concrete...

Kara's heart stopped.

And started again.

Sun lights snapped on. The warm glow overwhelmed her limp body.

But it was flatline.

"WHY AREN'T THE SUN LAMPS WORKING?!" J'onn shouted.

"I don't know sir." An agent replied quickly.

They grabbed the defibrillators.

"Clear!"

Shock.

Her body jolted then fell back.

Nothing.

They pumped it up and did it again.

"Clear!"

Her chest rose then fell.

Nothing.

"AGAIN!" J'onn snapped.

"Clear!"

A slight beat appeared.

She was alive.

But dying.
