Pull The Trigger

Alex suddenly grabbed a little device from her pocket and thrusted it at the team of Cadmus soldiers. A grenade.

Alex grabbed onto Maggie's arm hard and jerked them both to the ground. The loud explosion popped and banged. The couple pushed themselves onto their backs and Maggie smiled, "Badass."

Alex chuckled in return and they got up. Almost every single one of the Cadmus guard were unconscious. Maggie shot at the remaining two. They both smiled and looked back at Lex and Lillian.

"No where to run." Maggie started, "No where to hide." Alex finished.

"There's no need." Lex said simply raising his head just a notch and brought out the remote that he once gave to Lena.

Alex eyed him cautiously as he pressed a little green bottom, then brought his attention to the withering Girl of Steel with a sinister smile. Alex looked puzzled and looked at her little sister.

The chains suddenly sizzled and glowed a rich and evil shade of green. Her stance broke and her legs tumbled from underneath her. The breaking and snapping green veins lurched up her neck and her clenched fists. Kara took deep exhausted breaths.

"Kara!" Alex cried and attempted to take a step forward, but hesitated, and then took one back. She looked at Maggie.

Lex saw this out of the corner of his eye and breathed out a laugh. His thumb pressed against the button and pressed it down.

Another charge was sent through. Kara Zor-El let out a groan of pain that ached and pummeled at every muscle. The green cracked down her forehead. Thar was it! Alex couldn't take it anymore.

She pointed her gun at the two with a fiery raging glare. "Let her go or you both die." The older Danvers sister growled.

"You kill me, you kill her. One push and she dies. The second you pull that trigger, I press this button."

Alex squeezed the handle harder, making her knuckles turn white. She breathed out and forced her arm down and not at the two psychopaths.

"Fine." She mumbled and dropped the gun, making it clatter on this ground. "Just stop hurting her. Please."

"Hmm.." he hummed and then said, "okay." He stuffed the remote in his pocket. "I'll just hurt you instead."

Two Cadmus agents jumped up from behind them. One took his forearm around Maggie's neck and knocked her unconscious with his gun.

"Maggie!" Alex cried out and the two teamed up against her. "Now if you fight back your beloved sister and girlfriend dies." Lex threatened and motioned his hand at the two agents to engage.

They grabbed on to Alex's arms and she didn't fight back. They pulled her over by Lex and faced Kara, but was still a reasonable distance away. The two men kicked her feet making them yank from underneath her.

Alex fell to her knees and let her head fall. The soldiers were still holding a strong grip to her arms and pushed down on her shoulders. One of them took his hand and wrapped his gloved fingers around the back of her neck and hair forcing Alex's head up.

Kara watched in horror as Lex started to pace around her older sister. He grabbed a gun from a soldier and pressed it against the back of her head.

"No! Please! I'll do anything just don't hurt her." Kara begged tensing up and her stomach felt like it was turning inside out.

Lex only took a glance up with a smirk that defies all meanings of good.

And he pulled the trigger.
