Lena Finds Out (One shot)

This is War

The next day...

Alex sat next to her sister holding her hand tight and warmed her body.

Wires and tubes were connected to her. One up her nose and her pulse went slow... too slow.

A doctor walked in with his head down.

"This is going to be more difficult then I thought." He said quietly.

"What? Why?"

"She lost her powers. Using the last ounce of power left in her. And not she is in a coma. And might not wake up."

Lillian paced around in circles and a single tear lay on her cheek.

"I'm gonna kill her. I'm gonna kill her. I'm gonna kill her." She kept saying under her breath.

"Ms. Luthor?" Micheal asked carefully walking in.

"What?" She growled.

"Lex's body was removed." Micheal said quietly looking at the ground.

"Keep it. Get every ounce of kryptonite that he owned. Get all camera surveillance. Get every piece of evidence we have against Supergirl. This is war."

Maggie slowly raised her head and groaned, while rubbing the back of her head. The detective looked up to see Lena in the corner gazing off at the ground.

"Where are we?" She asked looking around the small empty room surrounded by rotten metal bars and hard concrete.

Lena snapped out of her stare and looked at Maggie. "Taken by my mother."

She blinked a couple times and then everything hit her.

"Oh my god." She breathed out. "Where's Alex? And-and is Kara okay?"

"I don't know." Lena admitted and sighed aloud.

"No way to get out of here so do t bother trying. I already did." Lena said watching Maggie as she was about to get up.

She then checked her pockets. "Fuck." She mumbled. "They took my damn gun. And phone."

The doors suddenly burst open and they both shot up.

"Mother." Lena spat. "What do you want? To make me evil again?"

"Well yes, but that was Lex. Not me."

"Whatever. It's not gonna work." She growled and balled her fists.

"Well your brother was such a brilliant man. He will be remembered."

"What do you mean 'He will be remembered.'....?" Her voice trailed off nervously.

"Well I'm sorry but he's dead. Thanks to Supergirl."

"Yeah right! I won't believe your lying ass." Lena barked.

"I knew you were going to say that, so I brought evidence." Lillian snickered and an agent gave her a computer.

She opened it up and faced it toward her.

There Supergirl flew forward, grabbed Alex, and bursted through the wall. There flew aside was Lex's dead body.

Lena stood frozen and her jaw laid open ajar.

"Thank god." Maggie breathed out and put her hand in her chest.

"She needed to. To save her sister." Lena said firmly. "Because you were going to kill her!" She growled.

"It was necessary."

"Your so fucking lucky you didn't succeed or else I would've killed you with my bare hands." Maggie spat.

Lillian just rolled her eyes.

"Well, if you want to live then you better join me. If not, then have fun rotting." And with that she left.

Alex let a tear fall down her Rosie red cheek and pressed her forehead against Kara's soft hands.

"Please wake up." She whispered.

But she didn't.

J'onn walked in slowly and leaned his strong figure against the door.

"Did you find Maggie yet?" Alex croaked.

"No..."

She sighed aloud and finally pushed her forehead off of her sister's hand.

"Did you check the warehouse?" She asked holding her breath.

"Yes, and it's been completely abandoned."

She let out the breath that held in her chest.

"I'm sorry, but we'll find them."

"Them?" Alex asked suddenly.

"Lena Luthor went missing as well. She's probably with Maggie." J'onn responded.

"Okay..." Alex wallowed.

J'onn stayed silent and stood there for a while watching Alex's worried expression.

"We have to get out of here." Maggie said the second Lillian disappeared behind a door.

Lena just started blankly and metal bars and key locked cell door.

"We can't." Lena said after a couple seconds, still spaced out.

"You heard her. We join her or die. And there is no way in hell I'm joining the devil in sheep's clothing."

"Well then we die." She said bluntly and sat down tiredly.

"Oh wow don't be too enthusiastic." Maggie said sarcastically.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Lena mumbled and laid back on the rock hard bench. "You don't know my mother. She may be heartless, but she is smart. Always ten steps ahead. Either way, we're screwed, but I'm in."

Lena then sat up and stood next to Maggie.

"What's the plan?" Lena asked.

"To get the hell out of here and kick some Cadmus ass."
