Alex was laying in her bed when her phone ringed. It was a text from J'onn.
It read: hey Alex... we need you. Now.

Alex got up and stuffed her phone in her pocket. She grabbed her jet black jacket and flew it around her other arm and pushed it tight.

And she left, on her way to the DEO.

J'onn paced in circles waiting for Agent Danvers.

"J'onn? What happened? Why did I have to come in such a rush?" Came a familiar voice.

"Alex, it's your sister."  He said softly.

"W-what about her?" She asked with a sudden knotted stomach.

She glanced past J'onn's shoulder and saw the clear glass opening up to the mad bay. With no Kara.

"W-where-where is she?!" Alex stuttered.

"She woke up..."

"What? Oh my gosh that's amazing!"

"But there's a problem... and I need you to go see her." J'onn replied.

"But I thought that I'm not supposed to be near her."

"Well she doesn't have her powers, so it shouldn't affect her, but still be careful." J'onn warned.

"What's going on with Kara?" She asked her voice faltering.

"You're gonna have to see for yourself." J'onn said.

"Where is she?"

Kara sat on her couch with her legs curled to her chest. She didn't feel hurt. She didn't feel sad.

She felt...empty.

She gazed off into space and her eyes were focused on the far floor below her.

There was a soft knock at the door. Alex peeked her head in and Kara glanced over to see her sister that she thought was dead.

She got up from the couch in an instant and stumbled back.

"St-stay back! I know that you aren't really her!" She threatened firmly.

"Kara? What are you talking about? It's me, Alex." Her sister said quietly and put her hands up to calm her down.

Flashes of her dying... the bullet piercing her skull... her falling limp on the cold floor spun in her vision.

"Lies!" She shouted. "Alex died! She's dead!"

"What? No, no that never happened."

"You think you can fool me, but I know that your a fake. You died! I tried to save you! But I failed. I DIDN'T SAVE YOU!" Her voice raised and tears rose in her eyes, but never fell.

Kara then picked up her phone and dialed J'onn.

"There's an alien or a shape shifter trying to be Alex."

"No, Kara. That's actually her."

Kara crushed the phone between her fingers. "Stop messing with my mind!" She yelled. "This isn't real!"

"No, Kara. This is."

"You're a dirty liar and I know it."

"I remember those times that we would go to the movies and eat popcorn. It was the only place you didn't have to deal with that darn popcorn maker." She said and chuckled with a warm smile.

"And then one night we went to a scary movie and there was an explosion. I remember I cuddled you in my arms because it reminded you of when your planet died and that moment I knew... just knew that I was going to protect you." Her deep brown eyes stared into Kara's eyes.

Kara saw Alex in there. In her soft reassuring eyes. A tear fell down her cheek.

"No... you-you can't be Alex..." she whispered and took a staggering step back. "You-you died! I saw you die! You died!"

"No Kara... that was a dream. You're safe now." Alex walked up to Kara and put her hands gently on her shoulders. She helped her slowly sit down on her bed and kneeled down in front of her sister.

"Hey, look at me." She whispered. Kara looked into her eyes. "It's me."

Kara pursed her lips and nodded her head. She let her self slip into her sister's arms and wrapped her arms around her.

More tears raced down. "I believe you."
