"You're what?!" I slam the door behind me as I enter Thomas's spacious office. He merely looks up at me and smirks. "Nice to see you too darling," he laughs as I cross my arms and roll my eyes.
"You're running for President?!" He laughs at my surprise and I throw one of the pillows on his arm chair at him. He catches it and tosses back at me. "You're a moron!" He laughs at me again.
"Thomas Jefferson, our wedding is in a week! Couldn't you have annoyed it after?" He looks at me apologetically. "Sorry.." he mumbles. My eyes soften. I fall into his lap and look up at him. "It's ok, but can we please focus on our relationship for now?" He nods and I turn to leave.A week later I'm looking in a mirror as Eliza starts to tear up. I'm in a beautiful wedding gown with a tiara on my head. Alexander is also in here, smiling brightly.
Angelica and Peggy fawn over me. "You look amazing Y/n! Thomas is so lucky!" I laugh and wipe away a few tears.
I hear the Oregon play the music and Alexander starts walking me down the aisle. I smile when I see Thomas, looking dashing. He fiddled with his tie as I walk closer to him.
Alexander hands me off to Thomas and we hold hands as the priest starts the wedding.
"Y/n Hamilton, I have loved since we first met. I promise to be a faithful and loving husband. I promise to protect you at all costs. I vow to keep you happy and healthy for the rest of our days. I vow to never leave you, I love you," Thomas starts tearing up but he's smiling brightly. Silent tears are rolling down my cheeks.
"Thomas Jefferson, I vow to remain faithful to you, to be a loving wife for the rest of my life. I promise to make sure that you are happy and healthy for the rest of your life. I promise to love you for the rest of my days. I love you," I wipe away my tears, and smile at my new husband.
"You may now kiss the bride," the priest declares and Thomas kisses me lovingly and passionately. We walk down the aisle to cheering and we get ready for the reception.
Eliza and Alex congratulate us and Peggy dance with me. Eventually it's time for the bride to dance with her father. However, Alexander takes up that role.
It's a nice slow song on the piano and Alex sniffles and wipes away his tears.
"I love Y/n, and let me know if he hurts you," he threatens. I laugh and he smiles.
"Don't worry, he's not that bad," I tell him and he nods.
"Alexander?"
"Yes?"
"I love you too."Thomas spins me around as I laugh radiantly. The crowd cheers as Thomas pulls me into a kiss as the fiddle finishes its upbeat song. We leave the reception in a carriage, and Thomas carries me across the threshold, and up to our bedroom.
I'm a wife to the man I love!
I'm now Mrs. Jefferson.
