Chapter 5

Oh god, it's been 15 minutes, how can he last so long? At least, Mr Curtis wasn't home. After some more time the moans stopped. I opened my door and saw a girl walking down the stairs

"Call me, Xander baby" she yelled in her pinched voice but he just groaned in response. I walked to his room and he was shirtless. Wonderful! I knocked on the door and he turned

"Oh, you're home" he didn't show any emotions, it's like he didn't care at all. He put a shirt on

"Next time, could you be a little bit more quiet?" He rolled his eyes

"Prude" he mumbled under his breath. I just dropped it and went back in my room.

The next day, after i came from college I stayed in my room watching Shadowhunters. It was probably 8 or something when a guy opened my door and was looking at me with wide eyes

"Who are you?!" He pointed a finger at me

"I'm Aurora"

"You're the girl that's staying with Xander?"

"Yes?" I said hesitantly

"Oh" he nodded "i confused the rooms" i nodded smiling at him "I'm Will by the way" he wanted to exit my room but i stopped him

"Wait" he turned to me his eyebrows raised questioningly. "Are you Claire's boyfriend?" He looked a bit shocked

"Yes, how do you know her?"

"We take the same classes in college. Could you tell her to return my notes, please?"

"Yeah, sur-"

"What's going on here?" His deep voice made my heart melt. I got up from the bed and walked to the door. Will was just standing there awkwardly

"I was just talking to Will. Your friend i suppose?"

"Yes" he didn't looked convinced. I turned to Will

"It was nice meeting you" i extended my hand to shake his but he grabbed my hand and kissed the back of my palm

"It was a pleasure" he winked at me. I flushed and went downstairs, looking over my shoulder seeing an angry Alec. I just shrugged, his mood swings weren't my problem.

The rest of the week was pretty much the same: college, coming home and study and sometimes Alec would bring home some girl, disturbing my peace.

On Saturday i was cooking lunch. Mr Curtis was out of town so it was just me and Alec. I was cooking and humming. When i turned from the stove i almost fainted

"For the love of God! What are you doing??" I put my hand over my heart trying to calm myself down. Will chuckled

"Watching you cook obviously"

"You staying for lunch?"

"Is there enough food?" He asked grinning

"Of course. If you're here you can prepare the plates. The food is ready. I'll call Alec"

"Who?" He asked truly confused. I rolled my eyes at him

"Xander" i mocked that girl who was in his house a week ago. He laughed and nodded. I went upstairs and knocked on his door but he didn't answer. I opened the door but there was nobody inside. I walked in and looked at his room. It was beautifully decorated. I saw a picture of us when we were little, next to his tv. I picked it up and looked at it. Oh, where was that chubby, innocent Alec that i loved so much? I saw a drop of water on the picture and realized it was a tear. My tear. I wanted to wipe it away but a hand got my wrist. But he didn't squeezed it this time. It was a gentle touch. He was right behind me and i felt too hot, even though he wasn't touching me.

I gasped when something wet touched my neck. I turned to him still looking at the picture. When i finally gathered my courage to look at him i realized he was shirtless, with a towel around his waist, exposing his mouthwatering, deep v-line. Also, his hair was wet, that's what i felt cold on my neck. His skin was so tanned and perfect. And his eyes, oh God, those eyes. He didn't say anything, he just let me check him out and look at every part of his body. After realizing what i was doing i blushed and took a step back

"The food is ready" I tried to sound normal but my voice came out just above a whisper. He took a step forward

"You don't have to be embarrassed for-" he tried to find the perfect words "looking at what puberty did" i looked at him to see him smiling his cute dimple showing

"This is a lot more than puberty" i said pointing to his chest and accidentally touching it. Damn his skin was so warm. I let my thumb rest there a little until someone cleared his throat from the doorway

"I just wanted to let you know that everything is ready, but i see you guys are busy" Will smiled evilly

"No, we're just-"

"We'll be there in a sec, Will. Wait for us there" Will grinned and left. I turned around to put down the picture and i bent down and -because he was far closer than i imagined- my butt made contact with his towel-covered part of him.

I gasped and straightened myself, trying but failing miserably to look unaffected.
