Chapter 10

We have been riding for some time and it's getting dark. We are entering a forest

"Do you trust me?" Alec chuckles

"Yes" i answer hesitantly and he stops the motorbike, getting down.

"Good, i want you to close your eyes"

"Wha-what? Why?" Alec cocked his eyebrow

"You said you trust me"

"Well i-"

"Just close you eyes" he said, rolling his eyes. I sighed and closed my eyes. I heard a few steps and then jumped when i felt a hand snake around my waist. Without thinking i opened my eyes seeing an annoyed Alec "i have to lead you so you won't trip"

"Right...um- yeah sure" i took a deep breath and closed my eyes. At first i tensed when i felt his arm around my waist but then relaxed a little when we started walking. We walked slowly for quite some time until he stopped. "Can i open my eyes now?"

"Yeah" he cleared his throat. I opened my eyes and i was standing there shocked

"It's-it's so beautiful! My god, Alec!" The view was mesmerizing. There was a lake and the full moon was reflecting in the water and it made the whole forest look like it was out of a fairytale.

"Glad that you like it..." He said rubbing the back of his neck. Wait, was he nervous? I turned to him even if it was very hard to take your eyes off of such a view

"Thank you for bringing me here. Does it, you know, mean something for you? This place?"

"I'd rather not talk about this"

"Oh ok. I understand" i looked at my feet awkwardly

"So do you wanna go skinny dipping?" I raised my head and looked at him wide eyed.

"What?!"

"Jesus, i was just kidding. Relax"

"Oh, right" i coughed awkwardly.

"Why are you blushing?" He had his perfect eyebrows furrowed. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out "nevermind. We should go"

"But we just got here!" I protested

"We can come back another time. It's gonna rain soon" he turned his back to me and started walking

"You promise?" I said while trying to keep up with him

"Yeah" he said lowly.

"Ok". I can't wait to come back here, it's just so beautiful. I think this place means something more to him than just a pretty view and i intend to find out what exactly.

The rain started while we were on our way back home. He didn't say anything the whole ride. We just got back home and are completely soaked.

"You should go change or you'll get a cold"

"You too"

"Don't worry about me. By the way i won't be home tonight"

"Ok. Do you wanna eat something?"

"Sure, can you make mac and cheese?"

"Of course" i changed and started making mac and cheese

"Aurora, do you mind Will and Claire coming over?" He yelled from upstairs

"No, when are they coming?" I yelled back

"In 10"

"Ok. I'm making more food then" Will and Claire came and Claire helped me with the food and all four of us ate together

"Claire, why aren't you having a sleepover with Aurora today? Xander and i have something to do tonight" Will said with hope in his eyes

"I'd love that! Is is okay with you, Aurora?" She asked me excitedly

"Yeah, sure. Your house or mine?"

"Here." Alec's voice made me shiver. He sounded so demanding. It's just a sleepover

"O...kay? When are you guys leaving? I hope soon" Claire whispered the last part in my ear. Will checked his watch.

"In like 3 hours. We could watch a movie until then. What do you girls say?"

"It's fine with me" Claire shrugged

"Yeah, me too" we all looked over to Alec

"I think I'll pass. I'm gonna train. I suggest you do the same, Will" he said coldly

"What about your back? You said it's still hurting"

"I told you to stop worrying about me. You coming Will?"

"No, actually, I'm going to watch the movie with the girls"

"You know you're going to regret that decision"

"Wouldn't be the first time. Come on girls let's have some fun" we watched Pitch perfect. Will insisted to watch it because i have never watched it. He said that i must watch it or I'm not living a happy life. He is a little obsessed. He even knows the songs. It was a good movie but Will really terrified me.
