Chapter 39

~1 month later~

It's impossible. It can't be. I look down at the 3 pregnancy tests that all read positive. I can't be pregnant. I had sex one time without a condom. I still remember how good Alec felt inside of me that day at the lake, well just as good as the next 29 times during this month. What am i going to do? I can't tell him, he doesn't want to be a father. Guess there is only one thing left. I'm leaving.

Alec was out at the moment, shopping for groceries so i had time to pack everything in my suitcase and put it in my car. I wanted to leave him a note but decide agains it.

I've been driving for 3 hours and i have no idea where i am going. I am so frustrated that i started crying. Without even thinking i dialled a number on my phone.

"Hello?" Irina answered. For a few seconds i couldn't even speak. I missed her voice "Aurora is something wrong?" A sob escaped me

"I need your help" i cried as silent as i could

"Where are you?" Her voice was filled with concern "I'm coming to get you" she said hurriedly

"I'm in my car, i can come to you" i said

"You sure you can drive?" She asked suspiciously

"Yes" i whispered

"I'm at Kane's house. Come here and we'll figured whatever happend out, okay?" She asked

"Okay"

~4 months later~ (3rd person)

Alec banged his fist on the door, ready to take it down if it didn't open soon.

"Kane!!!" He yelled "open the door! I know she's in there!!" He kept banging. The door opened reveling a calm looking Kane

"What can i do for you Alexander?" He asked politely. Alec stormed past him, and up the stairs. He opened multiple doors but the rooms were empty. When he put his hand ob the last door knob, Kane grabbed the back of his shirt with so much strength that it send him to the ground. "I can't let you go in there" Kane shook his head.

Alec got up and threw his fist at Kane's face with much more force than he intended. Kane fell to the ground unconscious. Alec opened the door and a gun came to his head. Irina was staying straight in front of him.

"What did you do to Kane?" Irina asked

"He's fine, just unconscious. Now move" Alec said through gritted teeth.

"No." Irina said dangerously.

"I don't want to hurt you, Irina" Alec was starting to lose his patience

"Too bad, cause i do" Irina smirked.

"Irina" an angelic voice said softly. "Put the gun down, please". Irina grimaced but let the gun down. "You can let him in"

"But-" Irina started

"I won't fucking hurt her!" Alec yelled

"Alec!" Aurora warned him. Alec rolled his eyes. "He won't hurt me Irina, it's fine. Thank you so much" Irina bit her tongue and left the room. Aurora took a deep breath and took the blanket off of her. Alec eyes widened. He was in shock, he couldn't move or speak. He was afraid he won't even be able to breathe. But he somehow managed. His feet carried him to the bed.

Aurora watched him intensely not knowing exactly what to expect from him. She knew this day had to come, at some point. He sat down next to her. He wanted to touch her belly but something kept him from doing so.

"This is why you left?" he asked quietly.

"Yes" she groaned. Her hands went around her tummy. She was panting trying to calm her pain. Alec started to panic.

"Irina!" he called. Irina opened the door and came to sit next to Aurora. He laid her down on the bed and covered her with a blanket.

"Breathe, honey. It's going to be fine. Just breathe" Aurora started to breathe normally, her pain slowly fading.

"Wha-What happened to her?" Alec asked confused.

"She's having a hard time with the pregnancy. She's in this kind of pain very often. She's not allowed to do any kind of effort or she might lose the baby. She's been staying in bed for the last 4 months, unable to do anything. Me and Kane took care of her. She was in good hands." Irina reassured him. Alec couldn't do anything but nod. "I'll leave you two alone. Call me if she needs anything."

"Okay" Alec said. He sat back down next to Aurora. Now that he was looking better, she seemed very tired but at the same time she was glowing with happiness. She always wanted children. "Kane is very lucky" he said with sadness. Aurora looked at him with confusion written all over her gorgeous face.

"Kane?" she asked

"He's going to be a father. Who wouldn't be happy?" Aurora finally realized what he was talking about

"Kane's not the father, Alec" she said softly. So that's why he acted so normal. It was Alec's turn to be confused. "You're the father". Alec eyes widened, all of the blood in his face drained and he fell to the floor unconscious. Aurora called Irina who started laughing her ass out, calling him a pussy. After she was done, her and Kane, who now had a black eye and a broken nose, laid him in bed next to her. They left her alone so Irina could take care of Kane.

After almost 15 minutes, Alec opened his eyes. Aurora kept quiet, not wanting to overwhelm him. The memories slowly started coming back to him. He looked over at Aurora to make sure she was real. She seemed pretty real, smiling shyly at him. He looked at her big belly, where his son or daughter was.

"I'm going to be a father?" he asked

"Yes" she answered simply

"Really?" he asked not really believing it. She smiled at him

"Come here" she motioned for him to get closer. She took the blanket off and raised her large t-shirt over her belly. Aurora took his hand in hers and put it on her belly. She felt the baby kicking and she was afraid Alec was gonna collapse again. But his pale face starting regaining color and he smiled with that amazing smile that made the time stop. Alec started moving his hand over her belly so gently she thought it was a feather. "Do you wanna know a secret?" she asked him biting her lip.

"Yes" he said but he was clearly distracted by the baby kicking.

"He doesn't respond to Kane at all, and very rarely to Irina. He knows you're his father" Alec looked up at her, his eyes glistening like he was about to cry.

"He?" Alec asked not believing he was gonna have a baby boy

"Umm...i mean the baby. I didn't want to know the sex." she shrugged "i want it to be a surprise. But i feel like it's going to be a boy"

"I don't care what it is" he said

"Look, Alec i own you an explanation about why i left, why i didn't tell you, why i came here, but-" she started but was rudely interrupted by Alec's lips on hers.

"I don't care" he said continuing to kiss her. Irina opened the door and cleared her throat.

"So glad you two made up, but she isn't allowed to make any effort so keep your hands to yourself" Irina warned Alec. "You staying the night?" she asked now looking at Aurora

"If he wants to, sure" she said.

"I'll go make more food, then" she smiled at them.
