Me and Nia just got into it again for the third time this week. It's only Tuesday. She pulled my hair and punched me in my face so Trever punched her in her shit and she let me go. Him and my daddy got into it. I told my daddy that he would do the same thing if a chick pulled my momma's hair and punched her in her face while she was pregnant with one of us. As soon as I said that they stopped arguing.
My daddy is arguing with Nia right now.
I honestly don't see why that bitch is still here. I know if my momma's husband or boyfriend would have put his hands on me my daddy would've been on ass if my momma didn't leave him. "That don't give you the right to put your hands on my child Nia!", my daddy yelled.
"You wouldn't be mad if it was Emily!", Nia yelled back. Bitch that's my momma.
"Emily is her mother! You ain't shit to her! You don't put yo' hands on my kids! It's taking everything in me not to beat yo' ass right now! Everything! You know what, get the fuck out my house! I don't know why I'm even arguing with you! Arguing is one thing but you put yo' hands on my pregnant daughter! Get out! We're done! I'll have the papers for yo' ass ASAP!" That's what I'm talking about. Divorce that bitch. I'm still mad at him for arguing with her in the first place though.
...
I'm standing downstairs by the door by my daddy as Nia take her stuff to her car.
After she grabbed her last bag she stopped at the door. "Terrence just tell me this, did you ever get over Emily?", Nia asked.
"No. Bye.", my daddy said. Her eyes got watery.
"Okay." She slowly left the house. Once she left I closed the door and looked at my daddy.
"What?", he asked.
"I'm mad at you. Why didn't you put her out from the jump?", I asked. My daddy huffed.
"Olivia go get ready for yo' appointment." I huffed then went upstairs talking stuff under my breath.
...
"Let's make a deal, if we're having a boy you got diaper duty for the first month if we're having a girl I got diaper duty for the first month.", I said looking at Trever as he drove.
"Okay, deal.", he said. His ass fenna be changing shitty diapers for a month. "You're about to be changing shitty diapers for a month.", he said.
"No, you are."
"We'll see."
"Yes we will. Either way it go, boy or girl, we should get something to eat afterwords.", I said.
"Okay, I wanna go shopping first. Our baby gotta have it all. All the Jordans, all the Nikes, all the, shit everything.", he said. He's about to spoil our baby like there's no tomorrow. I already know. Cali's gonna spoil him more though. Maybe not, I don't know.
...
"Do you wanna know the gender of the baby?", the doctor asked.
"Yes.", I said.
"You're having a girl.", she said. Trever looked at me smiling.
"Can you check again?", I asked. She moved the thing on my stomach a little.
"Yup, a baby girl." Diaper duty here I come.
...
We're dropping all of the bags off at the house right now. This man went all out. He got her plenty of shit. "Damn y'all buy all the stores?", my daddy asked as he helped Trever bring the bags in the soon to be baby room.
"Somethin' like that.", I said.
"That's the last of them, you ready?", Trever asked as he walked in and put bags down.
"Where are y'all about to go?", my daddy asked.
"Out to eat.", Trever said.
"Oh.", my daddy said.
"Yeah, let me use the bathroom first.", I said as I walked out.
...
I stood outside of the door and listened to my daddy and Trever talk. "If you ever put yo' hands on my daughter you know imma fuck you up right?", my daddy asked.
"Yes sir, but you don't have to worry about that. I'll never do anything to hurt Olivia, I love her too much. I wasn't taught that hitting women was okay but I don't regret hitting Nia.", Trever said.
"I wouldn't either.", my daddy said. I walked in the room.
"I'm ready.", I said.
...
"She's gonna look just like you. Beautiful eyes, curly hair and all.", Trever said as he rubbed my stomach.
"I know. We gotta think of names.", I said.
"What about Camillia?"
"I like it." We talked about random stuff until I got tired. I went to sleep and he went to play basketball.
