I'm on my way home and I'm happy as fuck! It was a long time but it was worth it. I feel so much better, I am so much better. The urges to use are gone. I'm so happy. Like I can't explain how happy I am. "How do you feel?", Nathan asked.
"Better.", I said smiling.
"You look better."
"Thank you. How have everybody been?"
"They been good, we been good.", he said.
"Good.", I said shaking my head up and down. I wonder what's up with my living situation. I wanna live with Cali or Trever but I can stay with my brothers if I have to. I wanna go to school too. I wonder if Trever went to school. "Did Trever go to school?", I asked looking at Nathan.
"Yeah, he graduated early too. He makin' dough. He's a top executive CFO, chief financial officer. He been all over the states. New York, California, Florida, all that good shit. He doin' good, no great for a man his age. He only 22 and making almost $320,000 a year, shit that's more than I make. He work and travel a lot but still make time for Camillia, he don't put nothin' or nobody before her. He's a great dad."
"I know he is. He's doing good, real good. Do he got a lady?"
"No, he been waiting on you.", he said.
"Me?", I asked confused.
"Yeah. He love you, a lot."
"I love him too, a lot. I still gotta find somethin' to do for Camillia's birthday."
"Trever already handled that.", he said.
"Oh.", I said. I been gone for 3 years the least he can do is let me help with stuff like that. In his defense I was in rehab so I can't be mad.
...
When I walked in I heard Camillia yelling. Why is she yelling? Who is she yelling at? I put my bags down and followed the yelling to the kitchen. "You always doing something with your ugly self!", Camillia yelled.
"Camillia I'm not about to do this with you! I said no more juice!", Jayden said loudly as I made it in the kitchen.
"Give me some juice you bird looking, poop eating, butt sniffing, rat smelling little boy!"
"Camillia you not supposed to talk to yo' uncle like that.", I said. She looked at me and smiled then ran to me. I picked her up.
"Hey mommy.", she said.
"Hey Camillia.", I said.
"Thank God, I can't watch her no more.", Jayden said as he walked to me. He hugged me. "Hey Liv.", he said.
"Hey Jayden.", I said smiling.
"I gotta make a run I'll see y'all later.", he said.
"Okay.", I said. Olivia and Jayden looked at each other as he left. I laughed. "Where's Trever?", I asked looking at Olivia.
"Work.", she said. "How was your vacation?" My vacation? They told her I went on a vacation? Well I don't know what else they could've told her.
"It was okay, I missed you so much." She looked down. "What's wrong?"
"Will you ever leave for a long time again?"
"No baby, I promise.", I said. She smiled and hugged me tightly, I hugged her back. I missed these hugs.
...
I'm at Cali's house with Camillia and Cali. I still got my room and everything is in there surprisingly. I though she would've moved my stuff out and moved to a one bedroom apartment or something. "You kept my room.", I said as I walked into the kitchen.
"Yeah I did, I knew you'd be better one day.", she said.
"I can move back into the house?"
"Of course. This is our house Liv." I smiled. "When are you coming back?"
"Shit today.", I said. She smiled.
"I really missed you.", she said. I smiled.
"I missed you too. Imma go look for a job."
"Okay, let me know if you need help or somethin'."
"Okay.", I said.
...
As I looked at jobs on my laptop somebody walked in. I looked up and saw Trever in a suit. I smiled, he smiled back. I looked at the time as he sat on my bed. It's 10:50. I was looking for jobs for a long time. "How was work?", I asked.
"Another day another dollar.", he said as he loosened up his tie. I shook my head up and down then looked at Camillia. She's asleep. "How long has she been asleep?", he asked looking at her then at me.
"A few hours." He shook his head up and down. I looked down and played with my fingers. "Umm, do you mind if she stay?" I looked up at him. I know that I'm her momma but I know it will probably take him a while to trust me with her. He looked at her. "Cali don't have to work or go to school so she'll be here too."
"I don't mind." I smiled and hugged him tightly, he hugged me back. We let go then he grabbed my laptop. He looked at it. "You find anything?"
"Not yet.", I said.
"Well I could use an assistant.", he said.
"Don't I have to go to college for that?"
"I can pull a string or two." I shook my head up and down and smiled.
"When can I get an interview?", I asked. He thought for a minute.
"I should have time tomorrow around 12:30", he said. I smiled.
"Okay. Just text me the address, I'll be there."
"Alright." He stood up and stretched. He looks so tired. "I gotta get going, I gotta get up at 7."
"You look tired. Maybe you should stay then leave in the mornin'. I don't want you to crash or anything.", I said.
"Yeah, you're right.", he said.
"You can sleep in the bed with Camillia, I'll sleep on the couch."
"This a big ass bed, we can all sleep in here."
"You wouldn't mind sleeping with me?", I asked.
"Of course not.", he said standing up. He closed the door then started taking his stuff off. I put the laptop up and put my phone on the charger. I laid in the bed next to Camillia and closed my eyes.
As I was doing off I felt Trever get in the bed next to me. He wrapped his arm around us and pulled us closer.
I smiled then dozed off to the sound of snoring.
