It's been three long years. I haven't seen Camillia or Cali or any of them and Jayson beats my ass. I think I'm addicted too. I can't stop using. Surprisingly I haven't lost weight or anything.
While I was thinking I was punched in the face. "Bitch don't you hear me talking to you?!", Jayson yelled.
"I'm sorry.", I said holding my cheek. "Yes?", I asked looking at him.
"I need you to do something for me. Go put on that nice dress I got you, we're going out."
"Where?"
"The streets.", he said.
"You said that was a one time thing.", I said. He raised his hand about to smack me. I covered my face. "Okay, okay, okay. I'll go change.", I said. I got up and went to the room then changed.
...
While I was standing on the corner a nice car pulled up. I smiled and walked to it. The window rolled down. It's Trever. He use prostitutes now? "Olivia?", he asked. I didn't say anything. "We've been looking for you. Get in so I can take you home.", he said.
"You don't know where I stay and I gotta stay out here until about 2.", I said.
"Olivia please get in the car, please. I'll take you to my house. Our house. It's not complete without you. Camillia miss you, your brothers miss you, Cali miss you, I miss you." It felt like my eyes were about to get watery so I looked away and blinked a few times. I can't lie I miss them, all of them but I don't deserve them. I shook my head left and right.
"This is the life I chose. This is the life I want." Lies. "I'm happy where I am." Lies. "I don't wanna go back." Lies. "Now leave before he comes." I fixed my boobs then walked away.
"Olivia I'm not leaving without you!", he said loudly so I could hear him. Jayson started walking towards us.
"Leave me alone!", I yelled. Jayson walked to the car. They talked then he pulled off. Jayson walked away. A car pulled up right after him. I smiled and walked to the car. I leaned down into the window.
"How much is it to give me a good time?", a man asked grinning.
"150."
"Get in." I got in the car then we pulled off. I closed my eyes and said a prayer in my head hoping he don't kill me.
...
I made $750 tonight. I don't keep any of it I just get coke. "You did a good job.", Jayson said after he counted the money. I smiled then it dropped. I don't want to do this anymore. Camillia is three now. She don't even know who I am.
"Jayson I don't wanna do this anymore.", I said.
"What?"
"I don't wanna do this anymore. I miss my family, I wanna go back."
"You actually think they want yo' ass? You're an addict! He don't miss you, he just don't want you with me. He told me that before he pulled off. If he really wanted you he would've made you go with him but he didn't. Did you see how quickly he pulled off? He didn't even put up a fight. How old is Camillia now? Three? I bet she calls another chick 'momma'. You wanna go though so go. I ain't stopping you. I got a better chick anyways. Just know you're kiss this goodbye.", he said. He held up a bag of coke. I started reaching for it. "Yeah come on.", he said smiling. I stopped. They're more important.
"I'm done.", I said.
"Get yo' shit and bounce." That was easy. I thought he wouldn't let me leave.
...
As I walked to the house with my stuff a car pulled up behind me. "Olivia get in the car.", I heard Trever say. "I got your brothers now you don't have a choice.", he said. I stopped walking and looked at him. I tried not to but I started crying. He got out of the car and walked to me. He hugged me.
"I'm sorry.", I cried. "I'm so sorry.", I cried harder. "I don't wanna do that shit anymore. I wanna get clean. I wanna be better. I wanna be a good mommy and a good person in general.", I said looking at him as I cried.
"Okay. We're gonna get you some help, we're gonna get you some help." I heard a car door close. I looked and saw Jayden and Nathen walking to me. I let Trever go and hugged them when they made it to me. After a little bit we got in the car. I sat in the back with Trever as my brothers got my bags.
"She don't even know me.", I said as tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Yes she do.", Trever said. I looked at him. "After you get cleaned up I'll bring her over.", he said.
"Okay."
...
I'm looking in my body mirror looking at a bruise Jayson gave me. I shook my head then got dressed. I put on some sweats and a big t-shirt. After I did somebody knocked on my door. I cleared my throat. "Come in.", I said.
I looked at the door as it opened. It's Cali. We ran to eachothe and hugged. We started crying. "I missed you so much.", she cried.
"I missed you too. I'm so sorry."
"Look at me." She held my face. "Don't do that shit again. I don't wanna have to beat yo' ass again." We chuckled then hugged again.
After a little bit we let go. "Come on. There's someone who wants to see you.", she said. We went downstairs to the kitchen. I saw a little girl sitting on the island eating a banana with Trever and my brothers around the island. They looked at me.
"Look Camillia.", Trever said pointing to me. She looked at me and smiled. She's so beautiful. Tears started forming in my eyes. "Who is that?", Trever asked. She looked at Trever. He showed her something on his phone. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Mommy!", she yelled smiling. I walked to her and picked her up as I cried.
"I love you so much.", I said.
"I love you too mommy."
