Olivia's Story

Chapter 11

I jumped up breathing hard and sweating. The nightmares are back again, every night. It was good while it lasted.

It's been about 2 weeks since everything happened. The girls got in trouble. I still don't know why they did that to me. I honestly thought we were cool.

They transferred me to Cali's school. They said that it was too late at first but they changed their mind after my daddy talked to them. I think he gave them money.

I like it. Everyone but this one girl is nice. I had to put that bitch in her place. She thought she could punk me. She thought wrong. I handle mine. "Are you okay?", Cali asked. I felt her sit up.

I think I can say that Cali really is my friend but you never know. They told me that she got depressed when they couldn't find me and that she helped look for me. She visited me in the hospital everyday until I left. She beat they ass too.

"Yeah, I just need some water.", I said lying and standing up.

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

"Okay.", she said. I left my room. I went to the kitchen and saw my daddy getting some water.

"Can I have a hug?", I asked. I really need a hug. He looked at me and put his cup down. He opened his arms and I went and hugged him.

"You alright?", he asked.

"I had a bad dream." He rested his head on mine and rubbed my back. It's something about my momma's and daddy's hugs that make me feel like everything is alright.

My daddy decided to take everybody out to breakfast. Nia, Nathan, Nathan's girl friend, Jayden, Jayden's boyfriend, Cali, and me.

I can't wait to meet Jayden's boyfriend. He hasn't introduced him to the family yet for some reason. Maybe he think we won't like him. I don't know.

We just made it to the restaurant.

My daddy dropped us off at the restaurant while he looked for a parking space.

We went on and saw them. We all hugged and said 'hey' then Jayden introduced us to his boyfriend.

...

"I have something to tell everyone.", Nathan said over everyone but quietly. We all looked at him. "We're expecting a baby girl."

"Oh my God I'm gonna be an auntie again!", I said happily. Everybody told them 'congratulations'. Momma's gonna be so happy.

...

Me and Cali are in my room watching a movie. "I'm bored.", she said.

"You-" I was cut off by somebody knocking on the door. "Come in.", I said. My daddy walked in with his hands behind his back. "Yes?"

"Come on.", he said. I stood up. "You too Cali." She stood up and we walked downstairs. I wonder where we're going.

We went outside and saw a car that's not his or Nia's, he held out keys. I looked at him confused. "It's yours.", my daddy said. My eyes got big. I screamed and hugged him. I took the keys and got in the car.

About damn time.

I can't believe he got me a car.

Me and Cali are at the mall. While we were eating and talking in the food court two boys that goes to our school walked to our table with food. "Can we join you?", a boy named Trever asked. Cali looked at me and I looked at her.

"Umm sure.", I said. Trevor sat next to me and Travis sat next to Cali. We all talked and laughed and shit.

After we were done eating we all walked around. After a while me and Cali left. Before we left Trever asked for my number and I gave it to him. I wasn't going to at first because I was scared of what he might do but every boy isn't the same.
