It's been a few weeks and nobody messes with me anymore, I still haven't told anyone about Marcus though. I'm too scared.
When I walked into my room I saw my momma sitting on my bed reading my diary. I froze.
How did she find it? Why is she reading it? Omg.
She looked up. "Why didn't you tell me?", she asked lowly. My mouth opened but nothing came out.
"I'm sorry.", I said with a crack in my voice and watery eyes. She got up and hugged me, I started crying.
"You didn't do anything wrong baby. It's not your fault." We stayed there for a minute until I stopped crying. "Put on your shoes and grab what ever you need, we're going by your dad's house."
"Okay." She left with my diary. I did as told then went downstairs. She was already down there waiting. "I'm ready." We got in the car and left.
...
We drove the whole way in silence. We got out and walked to the door. I unlocked it and we went in. As I closed the door my daddy walked to us. "What I do?", he asked. After I closed the door I ran and hugged him tight. I started crying. I don't know why. "What's wrong?" I didn't say anything.
"Terrence we need to talk.", my momma said.
"About what?", he asked.
"Where's Nia?", my momma asked.
"With her sister, what's goin' on?", he asked.
"Baby go upstairs.", my momma said.
"I want my daddy.", I said.
"Come on princess.", he said. We walked upstairs to my room. We sat on my bed. "What's wrong?" I didn't say anything I just laid on him. "Princess?" I didn't say anything. "Let me go talk Emily." I sat up and he left.
I sat on my bed thinking. I really don't wanna go to court again but he needs to be locked up.
I snuck downstairs and listened to them talk. "Imma kill him.", my daddy said.
"No, you already been in prison, they gone send you away for life this time. Imma kill him.", my momma said.
"No she need her momma in her life."
"She need her daddy in her life."
"I need both of you in my life! Why can't we let the police handle this? I don't wanna lose either of you and I want him to go to jail so they can do what he did to me!", I said. They looked at each other then back at me.
"Baby you're gonna have to go in court again. I don't want to put you through that.", my momma said.
"I know that I'm gonna have to go to court again but it's worth it.", I said.
"Okay baby we'll let the police handle it.", my momma said.
"Fuck that shit. He's dead.", my daddy said.
"Daddy please? I can't loose you, I can't.", I said. He just looked at me.
"Fine but if he don't get sent to prison I'm killin' his ass.", my daddy said.
"Okay.", I said.
...
We just left the hospital by our house. I talked to the police then I had to go to the hospital and get checked out.
I hated that part the most. They was all down there and shit but if it gets them sent away what the hell.
They already took him into custody. So I don't have to see him until court unless he gets bailed out and come to the house, I hope he don't.
...
My momma disconnected our phones and got us new ones.
When we made it home she told me to pack all of my stuff so I did. Now we're driving somewhere with all of my stuff in the back. "You're living with your dad until things are all taken care of.", my momma said.
"What about school?", I asked.
"You're still going, you don't have to go tomorrow if you don't want to though."
"Okay." A huge weight has been lifted off of me. He won't come in my room anymore. I can't express how happy I am.
...
For some reason what he did to me keeps popping up in my head and I hate it. Saturday needs to hurry up so I can talk to my therapist.
I sat in the back yard and thought about Adam and Marcus.
Why did my innocence have to be taken away from me? What did I do wrong?
"You alright?", I heard my daddy ask. I looked up and he was walking to me.
"No.", I said lowly.
"You wanna talk?" He sat next to me and wrapped his arms around me.
"What did I do wrong?"
"Nothin' princess."
"Why did they hurt me daddy?", I asked with a crack in my voice.
"They're sick animals.", he said after a minute. I laid in him and cried. "Shh, it's okay."
...
I felt Nia and my daddy looking at me while I played with my food. Why do they always do this shit? "Oh my- what?!", I asked looking up.
"Olivia chill that shit out.", my daddy said.
"We're just concerned.", Nia said.
"I'm fine. Just please stop looking at me, y'all are makin' me uncomfortable.", I said.
"We're sorry.", Nia said. I slowly ate my food. We ate in silence.
...
I'm on the phone with JoJo.
Joseph:You said you at yo' daddy house right?
Me:Yeah, why?
Joseph:You should let me come over.
Me:Okay, he leave they leave at 8 and make it home around 5, 6.
Joseph:I'll be there at 9.Hopefully nobody pop up this time, well if they do I'll just hide him.
