The Only Two Left [COMPLETED]

3. Prisoner Transport

A light drizzle comes down upon Madi and I's little world while my heart is beating as fast as the horses that used to run around this world. I rush back to the rover and set my com systems down by the front left tire. Then, I hop into the back part of the rover and get Madi.

"Hey my little Nightblood... It's time to wake up." She tries to go back to sleep and says, "No lessons today." But her face brightens when she hears the thrusters on the suttle. She looks up and rushes out of the rover. "Took you long enough," I say back.

She goes out and looks up. "I thought you said the ship was small!" She hollers back. For a quick second, my heart stops. Did they bring the whole Ark down? No that's impossible. I go out and look with her. As soon as I see it, I know it has nothing to do with the Ark. It is not a ship from any of the 12 stations.

"Madi go get my rifle now," I command calmly. Her footsteps slowly fade as she rushes to the Rover. In less than 15 seconds, she's back with my rifle. She hands it to me. I look through the scope of the rifle. 

Written in big bold letters across the base of the ship is "ELIGIUS CORPORATION". But my heart skips a beat when I look at another part of the ship, "PRISONER TRANSPORT".

Madi starts shouting at the ship. "We're here, we're here!"

 I quickly say, "Stop. Get down. I want you to back up the rover. Get it out of sight and load the guns." "All of them?" "All of them," I command. 

She does as I say, and she disappears behind me and I can hear the wheels screech as she pulls away.
