"Yang, this isn't what it looks like!"

"I'm pretty sure it is! You've been cheating on me, with Sun!"

I walked down to the basement to see Sun and her were kissing. My heart shattered when I saw them. I averted my eyes to the ground.

"Yang, please, let me explain."

"No, I get it. You obviosuly had feelings for Sun since you met him. I'll just leave you two alone."

I dropped the keys onto the floor and headed out.

"Yang, wait!"

I didn't want to hear it. I ran out of the door and headed into the woods. I ran as fast as I could, that I ended up tripping on a rock and falling down a small hill. I landed on rocks and saw that I was where I confessed to Blake. The waterfall looked beautiful as when I first came here. I got up, brushed off a few leaves, and sat down on a rock, watching the waterfall. I reached around my neck and took off the necklace Blake had gotten me. It was a heart and on the back there was an engraving: Forever and Always ~Blake I love you.

I put the necklace in my pocket and walked back towards the house. When I walked in, Ruby was sitting on the couch.

"Hi, Yang." Her head quickly turned away then turned back. "Yang, what happened?"

"I figured out why Blake and I weren't talking as much."

"Why?"

"Her and Sun are together now. Looks like I won't be needing this."

I pulled the necklace out of my pocket and placed it on the counter.

"I'm sorry, Yang."

Tears fell from my eyes and I sat on the floor. Ruby was next to me, her arm around my shoulders.

"She should have just told me, instead of keeping it a secret!"

"Yang, I'm so sorry. I don't know what to do."

"You don't have to do anything, Ruby."

I got up, wiped away the tears and headed into my room. I laid down on my bed and stared up at the ceiling. All memories with Blake started to replay in my head. I buried my face in my pillow and started to cry once more.

A few hours passed by when I realized it had gotten so late. It was 4 in the morning. I turned on my lamp on my desk and looked at my phone. I had three missed calls from Qrow, two from Blake, one from Sun, and I had a million messages from Ruby, my dad, Blake, and Sun. I listened to the three voicemails from Qrow, but didn't bother with Blake and Sun's. I read Ruby's message, which consited of asking if I was ok. My dad asked if I was ok and if I needed anything to just ask him. And I ignored the ones from Sun and Blake. I sighed and changed into my pjs. I turned off my light and laid there, staring back at the ceiling. I couldn't fall asleep, so around 6:30, I got up and got ready for school.

"I'm really sorry, Yang," Ruby said.

"Don't feel bad for me, Ruby."

When the bus pulled up, Ruby sat with Weiss and I stared at, once was a blank spot next to Blake, to see Sun was sitting with her. Neither of them looked up at me. I walked to the back and sat behind Pyrrha and Jaune.

"What happened with you and Blake? You two were once really close friends, but suddenly, you're not?" Jaune asked.

"I really don't want to talk about it, Jaune. But thank you for worrying."

"If you ever need a friend, we're all here for you, Yang," Pyrrha said, motioning Nora and Ren.

"Thank you."

All of got off the bus and headed into the school. The day dragged on, since I got zero sleep. When it came to lunch, I sat with Weiss and Ruby. Sun and Blake sat at their usual spot with Jaune, Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren. Velvet and Coco came over soon after. Five mintues went by when Pyrrha, Jaune, Nora, and Ren got up.

"Where are you guys headed?" Sun asked.

"A friend of ours needs some comfort," Nora said.

"Oh ok. Hope they're alright," Sun said.

They came over and sat down with us.

"Hey, guys," Ruby said.

"Hi, Ruby," Jaune said.

"What are you guys doing here?" Weiss asked.

"A friend needs some comfort," Ren said, resting his hand on my shoulder.

"You saw where they went to, right?" Blake asked.

"Yeah. When they were getting up, I knew who they were going to."

Blake sighed, "I fucked up, Sun."

"Hey, we all do."

"But I messed with Yang's heart. And I know how protective she is with her feelings."

"If you still love her, then go get her back."

"But she sees us as a thing now."

"I know she does. I didn't even mean to kiss you. You just looked so beautiful and it was just an impulse."

"And it was an impulse for me to kiss back."

"You really should explain to her."

"I tried to, Sun, but she didn't want to hear it."

"Give her time."

"I'll give her time, but I need time away from you."

Sun looked defeated after Blake said that, "Sorry, I didn't mean for it to come off as harsh."

"It's fine. I understand."

"We can still be friends, though."

~1 month~

I stood at my locker, forehead pressed against it. I couldn't wrap my head around that the last day of my freshman year was upon us. Ruby and Weiss were going to go out and get ice cream once we finished school. I was going to go along with them. I opened up my locker to see how bare it was. All except for a lone picture. It was Weiss, Ruby, Blake, and I. It was the first day we all became friends, which felt like ages ago. A small smile crept onto my face. I closed my locker and turned around to see Sun. The smile faded into a scowl.

"What do you want, Sun?"

"Blake needs to talk to you. She's in the chemistry classroom."

"If she wanted to talk to me, then she would have come up to me in person. And not send her boyfriend to get me."

"Yang, this is important."

"What's important? For Blake to say sorry for what she did and that she wants us to still be friends? No thanks!"
